Chapter One: The Accident

"You're not gonna tell our dad are you?"

"It was all David's idea."

"Fucking snitch!"

"I told you I was going to snitch if this would get us in trouble! Were you not listening at all!?"

"Well I had fun."

"BOYS!" Gloria shouted, driving them with her back to work, "SHUT! UP! And as for you Mijo, Yo no sey, I don't understand Mijo! I work hard, I put food on the table, I do everything for you so you can have an idea what hard work looks like, and this is how you repay me!?"

"I don't give a shit about Arasaka Academy-"

"That Academy can grant you a job!" Gloria replied, "I wouldn't suggest putting you in that school unless it promised you a decent future! And as for all of you!" She shouted at the Prime brothers, "Oshu! You oughta be ashamed of yourself! You are supposed to be an example for your Hermanos! How could you influence your amigo, my son, to do something like this!?"

"For the record, it was all his idea. I tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen to me. So I did what Dad would do, let'em learn the hard way."

"And now you boys are suspended for a week!" Gloria replied, "Do you boys even know what us Single parents go through!? Your father wants the best for his sons because he sees something great within you! Dee, I see a light in you Mijo, but you have to decide if you want to expose that light to the world or not. I know you hate Arasaka Academy, but it's the only school where you're guaranteed a better life. A school where you can prove yourself and reach to the top. entiendes hijo mio?"

David said nothing. And all of a sudden, "EVERYBODY DUCK!" Oshua and his brothers, who were sitting in the back seat, duck as a gang war was held between two rival gangs. On a highway. In the middle of traffic. It only got worse from there. "Ugh....Is everyone ok!?" Oshua called to David and his brothers after the car they were all in had flipped over.

"....M-MOM!" David shouted, "DAMMIT! I GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS THING!"

"LEMME HELP!" Miles created an energy blade, freeing David from his seatbelt. David kicked the passenger door open, got out of the car, and raced over to his mother to see if she was still alive.

When the medics arrived, Oshua and his brothers climbed out of the car, only for them to hear that Gloria had no health insurance. They left, with David cursing them out and saying that he'd take his mother to the hospital by himself! In Edwin's hands was a spine that had mechanics inside of it. It looked very rare and not something you come across on a daily basis.

"Please Mom....Fuck....Please Mom...Please be okay." David was trying his hardest to stay strong. He waited in the ER lobby with the Prime brothers while Carter was assisting with Gloria's Surgery. However....

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Gunshots were heard within the ER room, forcing the brothers and David to react. They stormed into the ER room and with widened eyes, they saw both Gloria and Carter dead. Bullet wounds that pierced through Carter's body. Gloria was in no better shape. 5 nurses were also shot alongside 5 doctors.

"DAD!" Oshua and his brothers rushed to their deceased father's side. "DAD!"

"COME ON DAD!"

"YOU CAN'T DIE!"

".......He's....HE'S GONE...." Oshua and his brothers trembled, falling back from their father's body.

On August 17th, 2076....The Prime brothers lost their father.

On August 17th, 2076...David lost his mother.

And things would grow worse from here....
