Chapter Thirteen: The Day Evil Won [Part Two]

"AUGH!" Lucy overpowered David, despite his Sandevistan proving to outpace Lucy. She grabbed David by the throat and slammed him to the floor, creating a crater. "L....Lucy....Come to your senses...It's me....It's-Ack-David...." It wasn't working, Lucy seemed permanently under Ragyo's control thanks to the Junketsu suit that she was wearing.

Slamming to the wall were Edwin and Alex. "Aw...Poor babies....You see...This is why you give into the dark side." Nui told the boys.

"It would be a big brain move on their end." Ryuko added, "But you know how STUBBORN men can be."

"I'm starting to see why Dad had us created through the Artificial Womb." Alex groaned, getting back up.

"This isn't getting us anywhere." Edwin replied, "We have to take it to the next level."

"Super-Saiyan Two?" Alex asked, "But that upgrade hasn't been tested yet. We dunno if using it will lead to Cyberpsychosis."

"What other choice do we have?" Edwin told Alex, "As long as we don't go higher than that, we should be fine. But we can't do it here. We have to take this fight somewhere else. Maybe in the city."

"Sounds good." Alex replied, "Miles." He called, "Miles, can you hear me?"

"Imma a little busy at the moment!" Miles replied on the other end, meanwhile he was still fighting Satsuki, she was proving that her upgrades could rival Miles in every combat concept.

"Pause your fight with Satsuki!" Edwin told Miles, kicking Ryuko out of Ara-Revocs HQ, taking their fight on a high-way where Falco and Rebecca did what they could against the Militech Forces, NCPD, and MaxTac forces. "I got a plan to bring Lucy back! But you need to be available for the plan to work!"

"Ok!" Miles replied, "I'm on my way."

"And just what are you planning, Edwin Prime...?" Ryuko asked the boy, sporting her upgrades and her upgraded Scissor Blades.

Edwin snarled, kicking the Super-Saiyan upgrade up to Super-Saiyan level Two. "Don't worry about it." He told her, "Worry about getting curbstompped by a Super Saiyan Two."

"Don't tell me what to do." Ryuko replied, "As if your potential can match mine."

"If you want to say otherwise, then try to slide me. Because I'm going to be sliding you."

"Sheesh, at least take me to dinner first."

"You wanna do things the hard way, then that's what you're going to get...The Hard way..."

"Lucy! I don't wanna kill you!" David was on the defense while Lucy was on offense.

"Pity." Lucy replied, "Because I wanna kill you..."

"That ain't you talking, it's the suit!" David fired warning shots before taking cover, "You gotta fight its influence over your mind!"

"And where's the fun in that?" Lucy replied, firing rapid shots from an upgraded Machine gun. "Like Kiwi taught me....Never trust a soul in Night-City. The people here will turn on you...Sooner or Later-"

"This is going to hurt you more than it's going to hurt me Miss Lucy!" Miles appeared behind her, frying the Junketsu suit off of her body using his upgrades. Junketsu suit, now fried, freed Lucy from its influence while David took over and ripped the clothes off of her body.

"I...I...I knew you'd come." Lucy replied, collapsing into David, letting him catch her.

"That's what you get for doubting me." David chuckled

Miles smiles but knows that the battle is far from over. "David, Falco and Rebecca need your help. My brothers and I got a lot on our plate, but we'll try to lend a hand despite of. Get Lucy and yourself into the car and get out of here. We'll handle everything from here."

"What!?" David asked, "No! I'm not going to leave you guys! We're in this together! We're in this together!"

"David...This wasn't going to last forever." Miles told the older boy, using his upgrades to alter David's upgrades, modifying him to where he would never slip into Cyberpyschosis. "That should do it." He told David, "No more Cyberpsychosis. Now go." He hands David a bag of Eddies, "I dunno how much this is, but it should be enough for you and Lucy to go to the moon if we don't survive. Keep running David. You and Lucy. Tell Rebecca and Falco the same thing."

"....I can't leave you guys, you're....You're my family." David told Miles

"Sometimes we have to learn to let go." Miles told David, "Even our families. You have a future David. A life worth living. You always did. We were tagging along for the fun. We'll miss you bro. You were our greatest friend in the world. But a new chapter awaits you. And it has been your reward because of the sacrifices you've made."

"......." David used his Sandevistan to put Lucy in Falco's car, cover her with a blanket as he did before, put the bag of Eddie's beside the unconscious Lucy, stopped the forces that opposed Rebecca and Falco, ordered them to get into the car, and started to drive away from Night City.

Ragyo's laughter echoed in Oshua's ears after crashing through Night-City buildings. The Super-Saiyan got to his feet, coughing up oil and blood. "You lose Prime...." Ragyo told Oshua, "You should have joined me. The offer is still there...Why not become one with Ara-Revocs? Why not become one with me?"

"If I didn't know anything about you, I would have said yes." Oshua replied, "But I know about you...You're not something I could trust. I put my faith and trust in a woman before, it cost me my unborn child. I will NOT make that same mistake again." He unleashes his Super-Saiyan Two upgrade.

"Defiant to the end aren't we?" Ragyo remarked, "So noble that it makes me want to cry."

"You know how this ends Ragyo....One shall stand and one shall fall."

"And we both know who that will be. I will stand. And you WILL fall." Ragyo smiled

"We'll see about that."

"Thanks for waiting." Miles told Satsuki

"Unlike my mother, I am a woman of honor." She told Miles

"Somehow I doubt that." Miles replied, "You know, if what I said earlier is still floating in your mind, you don't have to do this. You don't have to be your mother's slave. Don't you think that the curse caused by your mother should be broken by you? Or Ryuko? I think it can. But it's all about you wanting that desire."

"......." Satsuki took a battle stance, pointing her Katana at Miles.

"I guess I'll have to make this a game." Miles replied, "If I win you change sides. If I lose, I'll join your side. What do you think? Pretty fair right?"

".....I suppose..." Satsuki replied, "Very well...I will play your little game. And know that I WILL win."

"If you say so." Miles grins, ready for round three.
