I held him close as he cried into my shoulder
"I'm sorry Tonowari, I never wanted this to happen, I just want you to be happy" I said feeling my own tears well
"You make me happy y/n, I just hope she comes around, maybe father can convince her" he said through his cries
I brought him down to the ground as I noticed he starting shaking, I laid him down so his head was rested in my lap
He curled up and looked up at me, it broke me, I wiped his tears away gently and placed a sweet kiss to his lips, seeing such a big strong man break down like this hurt me, but the fact he was comfortable to show this side of him to me warmed my heart
"Just breathe Tonowari" I said as I placed one hand on his chest and brushed my other through his hair
He calmed down a bit and finally stopped crying, he reached up and placed his hand on my cheek
"I love you my sweet y/n" he smiled
I was shocked I knew there was obviously a strong connection between us and he saw me but to hear he loved me made my heart skip a bit and my brain was fuzzy with happiness
