9:25pm.

I started packing my bag, knowing that this'll be the night I will escape. For years and years have I gone through serious pain to become a killer. I never wanted this, but honestly i don't care anymore. I wish my family didn't go back to their old ways, i just wish my sister didn't have to disappear like that.

This is too soon, I don't think im strong enough to escape from them this easily, but I can't handle it anymore, I never asked for this life.

*thunder*

Good, it's raining, it can help cover up tracks.

I finally finished packing and jumped through my balcony and headed down to the gates. I will miss my mansion, but definitely not my family, im so glad im finally leaving.

It took me about 10 minutes to run from my room to the kingdoms 1st gates. "Good evening Princess Y/n, we were not informed you were leaving to go somewhere. Where will you go?" said the guards, "I need to complete a mission sent by the Goronel Family, it was last minute, the king and queen are in a meeting so they didn't have time to say something to you." i told them. It's so easy to lie to them since they're people i've known for basically my whole life.

The guards thought about it and tried to see if i was tricking them, they made their decision and said "I see, we'll let you go, would you like for us to take you to the 7th gates? The cars just arrived back with the new hostages.".

New hostages? Father and mother didn't inform me of them... um, i'll just not take the cars, my parents would find out in a few minutes that im gone, if i was still in the car by then, they'd take me back.

"No need, not necessary anyways, this mission needs to be done slowly in order to succeed. By the way who are the new hostages?" I replied. They stayed still and said "Babeinu army, our soldiers found them attacking the people living by the borders, the king and queen decided to take them in for a little questioning."

I nodded understanding the situation, a while after that another guard came and informed us that they already told the other guards to let me through. Hopefully i have enough time to run away before my parents find out that i left.

"Oh i see, ill get going now, thank you." i said, i felt a little guilt build up as i started heading towards the next gates. Once mom and dad finds out the guards let me through, they'd for sure kill them.

10:07pm.

I ran past the 5th gate, so far its been 32 minutes since the first gate, just 2 more gates to go and i'll finally be free. I need to be quicker though, my parents will find out any minute now. Well, it really depends on how long their meeting will last, but it was almost 10:30, usually the maid comes to check on me if im doing studies.

I fasten my pace, i'll probably get there before 10:20, if i keep running at this speed.

7 minutes have passed, I see the 6th gate already.

"Good evening Princess Y/n" said the guard at gate 6, he bowed and I greeted him, i needed to stop by to get something at the guard house first so i can get a good boat to get to another city.
