A.N: I Apologize if I haven't been updating this book in some time. I was very stressed and focusing on both passing my Freshmen year, and the first semester of Sophomore year. But now its time, I've gained better balance in both academics and fun/fanfic writing so without further ado I hope you enjoy. (Please note writing style may have changed since last time.)
It was a quiet pleasant dinner.
Apparently Bruce didn't want Jin-Woo and him to discuss business plans on an empty stomach.
Something about proper growth?
Either way Jin-Woo was thankful, the interactions with the family left him drained and hungry.
So it was only naturally he wasn't really paying attention.
Instead he was focusing on the System... which now that he time to think... had been suspiciously silent.
"Master Jin-Woo?"
The young Korean teen jumped, startled by the sudden appearance of Alfred, the Wayne family butler.
Jin-Woo turned toward Alfred eyes clouded with a look of confusion.
However his mind didn't register Alfred, he didn't know why, but instead his brain felt something else be registered instead.
Or rather someone else.
"G-go Gun-Hee?"
Alfred's eyes seemed genuinely surprised to hear such a name, but recognition shone his eyes.
"He was quite a soldier, someone I was quite proud to work with." Alfred had a wistful look a small smile on his face.
"Was he perhaps someone you knew in your universe?" This was Dick (Jin-Woo still couldn't get used to calling him that and he had a feeling he never would) speaking.
"I don't know... the voices have been suspiciously silent and my head feels foggy." Jin-Woo wasn't lying.
He felt sick, every one of instincts were yelling that's somethings wrong.
A small warm hand reached to pat Jin-Woo's head.
"If there's anything I've learned while holding the mantle is that trusting ones instincts is key."
Oddly enough.. it was Damian that was trying to comfort the stressed newcomer.
This made Bruce rather proud, his son had matured quite a bit since coming to the Manor.
"Now, what do you need to discuss? I don't really like beating across the bush." Stated Tim.
At the Jin-Woo brightened as well as Damian.
Jason blinked before muttering something under his breath.
It sounded suspiciously like 'fight addicted bastards'.
If Jin-Woo heard that right he was half tempted on asking: "Who are you to talk, have you met yourself?"
"As the deal I made with League states I must train every member of a different chosen team to conquer Gates."
Bruce nodded at Jin-Woo signaling him to continue.
"Well first I need your clothing sizes."
Jason raised his hand, mocking a prim and proper school student.
"Yes Jason?"
"What does my clothing size have to do with monster-filled portals?"
"Simple."
Jin-Woo opened his inventory pulling out a beautiful tiara-like circlet in a rather flashy and smooth way.
Batman's finger twitched, he was more then likely holding himself back from updating Sovereign's filed right then and there, dinner be damned.
