After getting a recruit to commit this past week, the Hershey Grizzlies head to Omaha, Nebraska to play the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks on Friday night in Nebraska. With 12:17 left in the first period, Austin Ortega scored to make it 1-0 Mavericks. With 8:14 left in the first period, Ryan Walters scored to make it 2-0 Omaha. Jackson Ruby and Ryan Massa matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 Nebraska-Omaha it remains heading to the second period. With 18:46 left in the second period, Alex Simonson scored to make it 3-0 Mavericks. With 8:10 left in the second period, Josh Archibald scored to make it 4-0 Omaha. Coach City pulled Jackson Ruby out of the net and so, Harry Reinhardt filled in the Grizzlies net for the remainder of the game. With 1:14 left in the second period, Derrick Vaughan scored to make it 4-1 Mavericks. Reinhardt and Massa matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-1 Nebraska-Omaha it remains heading to the third period. With 14:06 left in the third period, Brian Cooper scored to make it 5-1 Mavericks. With 1:20 left in the third period, Michael Young scored to make it 6-1 Nebraska-Omaha. Ryan Massa finished off the Grizzlies and Nebraska-Omaha wins 6-1. Hershey dropped to 2-13-0 on the season.
