After an incredible game last night, the Hershey Grizzlies return to Lowell, Massachusetts to finish the weekend series number eight nationally ranked UMass-Lowell in this Saturday night game. With 12:07 left in the first period, Sean Warning scored to make it 1-0 Hershey. With 6:17 left in the first period, Nick Gordon scored to tie the game 1-1. Harry Reinhardt and Connor Hellebuyck matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 we stand heading to the second period. With 4:26 left in the second period, Ryan McGrath scored to make it 2-1 UMass-Lowell. With 3:14 left in the second period, AJ White scored to make it 3-1 RiverHawks. Reinhardt and Hellebuyck matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, UMass-Lowell leads 3-1 heading to period number three. With 1:02 left in the third period, Shayne Thompson scored to make it 4-1 RiverHawks. Connor Hellebuyck finished off the Grizzlies and UMass-Lowell wins 4-1. Hershey dropped to 4-26-0 on the season.
