After a near comeback last night, the Hershey Grizzlies return to Orono to play the Maine Black Bears one final time tonight at Alfond Arena. With 10:19 left in the first period, Derrick Vaughan scored to make it 1-0 Grizzlies. With 9:37 left in the first period, Devin Shore scored to tie the game 1-1. Jackson Ruby and Matt Morris matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 remains our score heading to period number two. With 11:14 left in the second period, Cam Brown scored to make it 2-1 Maine. With 4:26 left in the second period, Kris Singleton scored to tie the game 2-2. Ruby and Morris matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-2 remains our score heading to period number three. With 10:17 left in the third period, Trevor Law scored to make it 3-2 Grizzlies. With 31 seconds left in the third period, Brett Murphy scored an empty net goal to make it 4-2 Hershey! Jackson Ruby finished off the Black Bears and Hershey wins 4-2! Hershey improved to 3-21-0 on the season!
