On November 27,2013, Hershey hockey coach Zak City announced that Chris Phinney, a goaltender from Princeton, New Jersey has committed to Hershey University! Phinney has a goals against average of 2.47 and a save percentage of .927 which is not bad considering he's a three star recruit. Coach City said "I'm excited for the future of this program and it begins with recruiting players who want to play here and want to succeed here." Coach City's team continues their season on Friday as they travel to Nebraska-Omaha this upcoming weekend. Needless to say, Coach Zak City is very excited about the future of Hershey Grizzlies hockey! Go Grizz!!
