After another disappointing loss last Saturday, the Hershey Grizzlies head to Canton, New York to play the St. Lawrence Saints this weekend at Appleton Arena. With 14:17 left in the first period, Eric Sweetman scored to make it 1-0 Saints. With 13:11 left in the first period, Jalen Hanson scored to tie the game 1-1. David Carr and Matt Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 remains our score heading to period number two. With 10:20 left in the second period, Drew Smolcynski scored to make it 2-1 St. Lawrence. With 3:10 left in the second period, Woody Hudson scored to make it 3-1 SLU. Carr and Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-1 Larrys we stand heading to the third period. With 14:08 left in the third period, Trevor Shiplo scored to make it 3-2 St. Lawrence. With 10 seconds left in the third period, Derrick Vaughan scored to tie the game 3-3. Carr and Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-3 remains our score and we'll play extra hockey tonight. With 1:17 left in overtime, Gunnar Hughes scored to win the game for St. Lawrence 4-3. Hershey dropped to 2-19-0 on the season.
