After another humiliating loss last night, the Hershey Grizzlies return to the great Rocky Mountains to continue their weekend series against Denver on Saturday night at Magness Arena. With 10:19 left in the first period, Evan Ritt scored to make it 1-0 Pioneers. With 9:30 left in the first period, Adam Gaudette scored to tie the game 1-1. Jackson Ruby and Evan Cowley matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-1 we stand after a period of play. With 14:20 left in the second period, Ty Loney scored to make it 2-1 Denver. With 1:13 left in the second period, Trevor Moore scored to make it 3-1 Pioneers. Ruby and Cowley matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Denver leads 3-1 heading to the third period. With 29 seconds left in the third period, Grant Arnold scored to make it 4-1 Pioneers. Evan Cowley finished off the Grizzlies and Denver wins 4-1.
