After a disappointing first half of the season, the Hershey Grizzlies return to the Giant Center to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats this weekend to kick off the second half of the season. With 18:49 left in the first period, Kellen Jones scored to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 17:43 left in the first period, Derrick Vaughan scored to tie the game 1-1. With 15:08 left in the first period, Kellen Jones scored to make it 2-1 Bobcats. Jackson Ruby and Michael Garteig matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Quinnipiac it stands heading to the second period. With 13:40 left in the second period, Tim Clifton scored to make it 3-1 Bobcats. With 8:14 left in the second period, Matthew Peca scored to make it 4-1 Quinnipiac. Ruby and Garteig matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-1 Bobcats we stand after two periods of play in Central Pennsylvania. With 14:20 left in the third period, Sam Anas scored to make it 5-1 Quinnipiac. Coach City pulled Jackson Ruby out of the net and so, David Carr filled in for the remainder of the game. With 5:40 left in the third period, Jordan Samuels-Thomas scored to make it 6-1 Bobcats. Michael Garteig finished off the Grizzlies and Quinnipiac wins 6-1. Hershey dropped to 2-17-0 on the season.
