Hugo's POV:

After about 6-7 hours, we finally arrived at the village Cass was talking about. Wait... this place looks... familiar?

Cassandra: It's pretty late. We should find somewhere to stay for the night and then-

I cut her off.

"NO WAY! We need to find him NOW! Who knows what kind of danger he's in. WE need to find Varian NOW! I AM NOT STOPPING UNTIL WE FIND HI-"

Cassandra: WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE UP AGAINST AND WE'RE BOTH LOW ON ENERGY! WE NEED REST BEFORE WE GO AFTER THEM!

I stayed silent for a bit... I didn't want to admit it, but she was right. We were both INCREDIBALY tired and hungry.

Cassandra: First things first, find the village elder. Second, find a place to stay for the night. Third, find where Andrew and his crew are staying.

"Then what? We're not just gonna barge in, are we?"

Cassandra: Do you want to find Varian or not?

I nodded, staying silent. I jumped off Cassandra's horse, waiting for her to join me on the ground.

"You coming?"

Cassandra: Yeah, just looking around first.

She hopped off, landing next to me. Her face lit up while looking in a certain direction. I turned my head to face where she's looking and saw... Pablo? I thought this place looked familiar...

Cassandra: HEY PABLO!!!

She ran over to him, leaving me behind.

Pablo: Oh, Cassandra... so nice to see you again.

Cassandra: No time to talk, this is important. Do you know a guy by the name of Andrew?

I ran over to them, standing next to Cassandra.

Pablo: Hm, yes, I do know a guy named Andrew. He's been staying in my Village for the past few months. Strange fella, he is.

Cassandra: There's no time to waste. He kidnapped Varian and the last place I saw him was here. Do you know where he is???

Pablo: Oh... wow ok... um, yeah. Andrew and his crew are staying near where you were staying. Just down the road there.

He turned and pointed to his left. I saw the same 3 cabins we stayed in when we were here, but something was... different. When we were here last time, there were only 3 cabins... but there are 4 cabins instead. It was pretty dark, so we probably just didn't notice it.

Cassandra: Thank you so much for everything Pablo.

Pablo: No problem, Cass... hope you find Vivian.

It's Varian you old fart... I don't know why, but as soon as Cassandra wasn't looking, I ran. I ran towards the cabins as fast as I could. Cassandra was chasing me, shouting at me.

Cassandra: HUGO!!! COME BACK!!!

I didn't listen. I kept running. I just want Varian to be okay. As I ran to the cabin, I saw a trap door round the backside of it.

Cassandra: DON'T YOU DARE HUGO!!!

I ran up to the door and opened it, revealing a ladder leading down a deep and dark hole. Without hesitation, I climbed down, hoping Varian was down there. Please be okay, Varian.

Okay, so I know it's been a while since I uploaded a chapter but like I say at the end of almost every chapter, I've been really busy lately. My cat I've had for 10 years passed away yesterday and school has been up my ass like crazy. luckily, it's almost school holidays so I'll have plenty of time to write and continue this story. Anyways I'm in school currently, just finished an essay, I need to wrap this up. BYE!!!
