Maro waited by the table as everyone started to gather outside and make their way in. Baldassare was the first in, Deacon right behind him grinning as if he had caused the deep set scowl on his brother's face as he settled in a seat. Bonnie bounced in, practically glowing. He wasn't sure why and didn't really want to think about it."Where's little brother and sister?" Bonnie asked, she sat right next to Baldassare resting her arm on his shoulder. His scowl only deepened.
"They're coming." Maro answered.
"So...? Deacon, what were you saying about the kid?" Bonnie clearly was stirring a pot by the way Baldassare hissed.
"He's a good man. Smart and a big sweetheart. You should really think about trusting him, Balda." Deacon said. Baldassare scoffed, leaning away from Bonnie when she laughed a bit.
Flint strolled with a lazy smile on his face, his hands in his pockets. "Hey guys!" He waved at everyone before settling down at the table. "Constance will be a minute I was checking on how the pregnancy is going."
"It's going to be so exciting. Well," Bonnie flicked her hair over her shoulder, leaning towards Flint. "Not for a few months anyway."
"Can we just get this started?" Baldassare snapped. Bonnie raised a brow at him, smiling.
"The whole team isn't assembled yet-"
"The pregnant woman shouldn't be a part of the team." Baldassare said it softer but Maro still bristled.
"It's her choice." Maro snapped, giving his brother a heated look. Deacon's face no longer held a smile. He just watched them quietly. Constance sauntered through the doorway, her purple skirts gracefully swishing around her ankles, she nodded at everyone in a silent greeting and made her way over to Maro with a smile on her face. "Things are good?" He asked quietly.
"Yes, things are going really well, a very healthy baby." She smiled warmly at him.
"Well since the team is all here. It looks like our next trip is going to be much warmer then the last."
"Where is it?" Baldassare cut straight to the point.
"Africa, here." Bonnie pressed a finger to the table. Her black magic seeped out and formed into a map. Baldassare's face hardened slightly, he leaned back away from it. Maro understood, even Deacon moved back from the magic despite how friendly he was with Bonnie.
Constance stared at it with a calculating look in her eyes, Flint's eyes widened in surprise and he tried to touch the magic in fascination.
"I wouldn't." Maro said directly to Flint. Bonnie winked at Flint. Flint's eyes flickered to Maro before he removed his hand that was almost touching the table.
"Right here is where my powers sensed it. I'm not sure if we will have to dig. It seems to be in the middle of this big valley." She pointed at a large valley. Two small mountain ranges rang along either side of it.
"There are no buildings or anything there?" Deacon asked.
"Nope. Seems like wilderness to me. We should still be ready." Bonnie advised.
"That dragon was trash." Baldassare muttered, staring at the map in concentration.
Constance raised an eyebrow at Bladassares comment, her eyes focused on the map. She seemed like she was calculating something.
Maro sat at the table, his own map now rolled out on the table after everyone else had gone. Bonnie said she could take the entire group directly above the place where she could sense the next piece. Baldassare, in his blunt way of saying things, pointed out that landing in the middle of everything might not be a smart idea if there was another dragon.
