Mimi giggled to herself as she experimented on her latest creation. Most people thought that what she did was disgusting, demeted, insane really. But she thought she was being innovative, daring, and resourceful. She looked at the dead rat in front of her, she had welded metal body pieces to it, and fixed its head that had been half eaten. She looked at it in wonder and excitement as she put her tools down, she had a whole slew of unsuccessful attempts in a bucket. It was starting to smell as the flesh rotted. She tapped a spot on the head of the rat and waited with baited breath. After a little while it's foot twitched. And then a wiggle of the ear. Mimi laughed as she watched her creation struggle to move.

The rat let out an ear piercing screech before it collapsed and Mimi frowned. It was almost a success. She shrugged before she tossed it into the bucket of failed experiments. She sighed before she decided to go into the house and bother Constance. She hopped her way over to the cottage humming to herself.

The moment she came into the house and towards the kitchen she could hear a very distinct sound and we met with the sight of her cousin bent over the table with a green eyed man pleasuring her. Her eyes widened and she turned around quickly, "Whoops Sorry to bother you in such a critical moment!" She yelled at them as she ran back outside. She decided to let them have their time together and couldn't help but laugh as she heard a gasp and 'Mimi!'.

The door to her shed was open as she walked back. Once she was inside, the door slammed shut. A tall man blocked it. His hair was cut short, his green eyes were flaming with angry intensity. He was dressed really fancy but it didn't hide the tattoos that spread across his neck and hands.

"These yours?" He asked, as he moved to lock the door she could see a gun peeking out from under his suit jacket.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Mimi sniffed as she watched him with cautious eyes. He looked dangerous but something in her was screaming at how familiar he seemed.

He sneered a bit, "cut the shit. You can smell it the moment you go around the house." The man moved closer, not within arms reach but close enough that she could see the details in the open mouthed hyena tattoo across his neck.

Mimi's eyes quickly darted to the bucket and then back at him. "It's none of your business."

A dangerous grin spread across his face. "And how would you know that?"

"Because I don't know you, so how could you possibly know or need to know my business." Mimi crossed her arms. She wasn't sure why but he made something in her stir. It felt passionate and fiery.

He looked her over, not in a way a stranger would normally look at another. Just like the feeling she had, it was very intimate. When he looked back at her eyes it was in his gaze. "It's illegal. That," he waved his hand towards the bucket, "is going to get you and everyone who knows killed. So, my business or not. Answer the fucking question." He snapped, flashing sudden anger.

Mimi huffed and looked away. "Yeah they're mine. I was almost successful with my last one." She fussed as she looked over at the bucket. "I really think I can get it to work." She sounded eager.

"What the fuck are you doing to them?" Disgust filled his face before he moved with blinding speed, his hand latched around her throat and squeezed. His eyes were flecked with gold and full of fury.

"I-m T-ry-ing t-to re-ani-mate th-em." Mimi said in between breaths as she was strangled. Her heart beat faster as she felt his hands around her neck. She felt a sense of danger but also safety?

He grit his teeth and practically threw her away from him. "Black magic? You're insane." He snapped, his hands fisted at his sides.

Mimi crashed into a work table. Her projects went flying across the room in different directions. She cried out not only from the impact but to her unfinished work as well. She groaned as she stood up. "I don't understand why it's such a big deal. They're already dead, it's not like I'm doing this to live animals." She huffed as she got off the table.
