*everything is pitch black, until a white light begins to radiate in the darkness, showing Kobura on the ground of this infinite void*
Kobura: N-ngh… *opens eyes, looking around to see… absolutely nothing in this darkness* Where am I…? Did I… die…?
???: We could say that.
Kobura: …?! *quickly turns towards the voice and sees it's another him, but flowing with ki from all colors of the light spectrum, with glimmers of sparks gleaming from it's body* What… are you? *Dragon ball super zamasu's theme plays*

Kobura (Spirit): We know the answer to that already. *holds out his hand, making a ki ball similar to how Kobura would* We are us.
Kobura: *stares at the spirit for a second, then looks around desperately* Where's the damn exit?! If I don't hurry back—!!
Kobura (Spirit): Our body was broken. Disconnected from itself. *eyes narrow* Nightmare separated the connection to our ki. Swallowed it whole, and left us within his domain.
Kobura: *eyes shrink, slowly looking back at his other self* Our ki…? How the hell?! Then I really am dead, left in some freak's stomach… *growls, crossing his arms and looking down* …What exactly are you? Some kind of hallucination?
Kobura (Spirit): Something that can never be stripped from ourself. Something that no one but us know.
Kobura: I know? *looks at the spirit closely* This presence… The heat… It feels just like Ririsu…!
Kobura (Spirit): *nods*
Kobura: But… Ririsu is the release of my ki. How are you still here if it was removed?
Kobura (Spirit): The act of Ririsu, to release, is individual to us and us alone. We have a hunch, and know from our lineage. *puts a hand over his heart* It flows through our blood; all of us in our family. Us, however, are mutated. An even more drastic power differential, but more of a detriment to ourselves after too long.
Kobura: *looks at his chest, narrowing his eyes* Father always said we were special. He never could tell us why though, before everything happened… *as he's thinking, hands reach out and grab on to him, repeated a familiar phrase*
Childish Voice: You were my hero… You were my hero… You were my hero…
Kobura: . . . *grits teeth, looking forward instead of down at the hands*
Kobura (Spirit): *standing next to the dark Freezer from his nightmare before, looking back at the other Kobura* We have power, we have courage, but we lack the drive to push forward. What will we do? Deny our past? Run from our mistakes? *eyes narrow* Will we be looking at the backs of those we are meant to protect? *a child Azura suddenly appears, hugging around Kobura's leg* The backs of those we are destined to defeat? *shows King and Team Cerberus next to Freezer* Will we deny who we truly are any longer…?
Kobura: . . . *grits teeth even more, almost to the point of cracking them until he feels something brush against his hand* . . . ?
Childish Voice: *one hand gently hugs his finger; the same that was left behind on that horrible day* Thank you, Mr. Lizard… You tried your best… You looked so cool…! I'll tell my school all about you!
Kobura: *tears start to stream down his cheeks* B-But… But I… *he then feels Azura hug his leg tighter, making him look at her*
Azura (Child): Don't worry about bad people… Don't let them get the better of you! You always tried to be some fancy-schamcy hero with a cape, but that was never really you… *hugs tighter, tearing up a bit* You don't have to be your brother to be admired. You don't have to be your father to be loved. Just be who you've always been meant to be since we met…
Kobura: *eyes shaking, tearing up even more, clenching his hands into fists*
Freezer (Nightmare): You will only get in my way. *looks back at Kobura over his shoulder* I'll kill them all, so you just sit there and fester. How can I look up to someone who can't think for themselves?
Kobura: *his hands start to bleed from how hard he's clenching them* . . .
Azura (Child): *suddenly grabs his hand along with the floating child's hand, stepping forward and looking back at him* All you need to do is take the first step, Kobura! Your future needs you! *wipes her eyes and smiles* You need to keep up somehow, right? Be my hero your way!~
Kobura: *suddenly stops shaking and gets wide eyes, opening his hands and staring forward towards his spirit*
Kobura (Spirit): We don't have much time. The shadows are beginning to digest. *closes eyes* Can we keep up…? *Dragon ball super final flash/Saiyan pride theme plays*

Kobura: *growls under his breath, looking back and seeing black tentacles beginning to writher toward him, then looks back at his spirit and the others with bloodshot eyes* JUST YOU FUCKING WATCH!! *suddenly dashes forward, all of the hands that made up the dead civilians form back into their full bodies, giving him one last push of speed*
Azura (Child): *does the same as them, pulling him through the dark as fast she can* Go!!!
Kobura: *trips up while running but scurries back to his feet, tendrils one by one grabbing on to him and slowly pulling him back* G-GGGHHH!!! *they grip around his head, shoulders, and legs tightly, dragging him back*
Azura (Child): You got this!! Push through it!!
Earthlings: *all of the citizens and Azura scream out "GOOOOO!!!" at the same time, cheering him on*
Kobura: *veins bulge out across his body, putting everything he has of his own pure strength to escape* HRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! *just barely breaks free of their hold, sprinting towards his spirit* I AM… I AM…!!— *leaps through himself, making everything turn white…*
*cuts back to Nightmare, walking out of the house while holding the blue Dragon Ball*
Nightmare: Hm… Finally. This will make two. *grins, looking at his reflection through it* Soon enough, I will be free to put this pointless universe into darkness. Only when the living can learn to adapt to their fruitless fears, is when they deserve to truly live. If they can even survive, that is… *he begins to laugh, watching the ball shine in the light* Order is brought through destruction, one eternal nightmare at a time. *after a moment, he sees the shadowy aura around him begin to flicker with random colors* What was…?— *eyes shrink, begins to cough uncontrollably and fall to his knees, gripping his throat* Ack…!! A-AACK!! *he sputters up blood mixed with flickers of light, letting out a pained scream* A-AAAAHHHHHH!!!! *light forms in his throat and out of his mouth before it suddenly shooting out of him like a lightning bolt, crashing into the ground and causing Nightmare to slide away from the impact, he gasps for air desperately as he looks up to see Kobura still on the ground* G-gh… *after a moment, Kobura begins to flicker with random bursts of ki, making Nightmare stumble up to his feet again* H-huh…?!
Kobura: *hands crack and twitch before he shakily stands up, hunched over, his eyes flash open, staring down Nightmare with a murderous intent, however a smile crept across his face before his face plate goes across it again* …ETERNAL. (To Be Continued...)
