*cuts back to Kobura's memories, Tori watching from outside of his spirit realm like it's a movie*
Tori (Spirit): *resting his hand on the mirror that's showing Kobura's memories with his older brother* I can see why you looked up to him so much. Your elder brother seems as though to be a true role model.

*shows ??? opening a door, getting a report from a guard, Kobura (Young) watching from the other side of the room and trying to eavesdrop*

How important is it? *sighs and nods* Alright, I'll be there soon. *closes the door, then looks back at Kobura (Young) who is a lot closer than he thought he'd be* Hey bud… *crouches down, patting his little brother's head* I gotta go to a very important meeting. Kobura (Young): *sighs, then nods twice with a semi-smile* Y-yeah. Will do!
Kobura (Voice): I hated his work. Gone for hours, having meetings with officials; it sounded so boring. I always heard stories of him taking down bad people and keeping us safe. THAT'S what I wanted to see… At least, that's what I thought.
Tori (Spirit): You thought?
*cuts to later at night, Kobura (Young) holding baby Freezer and starting to doze off*
Kobura (Young): Z-zzzzzzzz… *snoring ever so slightly*
*the door to the room slowly opens, immediately waking Kobura (Young) up*
Kobura (Young): *quickly opens his eyes, looking over at the door with blurry vision* H-huhhh…? Who's there…?
???: *letting out shaky breaths, closing the door behind him, breaking down and beginning to cry* …
Kobura (Young): *vision clears up, seeing his elder brother* *dragon ball super time dialogo theme plays*

B-big brother…? What happened? Did someone hurt you?!
???: *shakes head* N-No… No, no one hurt me. I just… I-I just… *can't stay strong in front of them anymore, squeezing the door handle enough for it to crack* I can't believe those damn Saiyans… Why…? We were all— *shakes head, then turns around to face Kobura (Young) and Freezer, tears still streaming down his face as he looks more stoic than he ever has before, yet… so emotionally broken* I've been given a very dangerous task, lil bro. I might not be back for a while. If I'm not back, I want you to watch over our family. Alright…?
Kobura (Young): *frozen in place, slowly tearing up uncontrollably* W-What do you mean…? You'll come back…! You always come back!! Y-you're scaring me!!!
???: … *still staring down at him*
Kobura (Young): *shocked, his pupils start shaking* Y-you… You mean it… *grits his teeth, trying to shove his elder brother while yelling at him* WHY?! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GO?! ANSWER ME!! I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO!!
Freezer (Baby): *starts to cry too, flailing around*
???: *grits his teeth, before crouching down and hugging them both close to his chest* I'll do everything it takes to come back in one piece. Just please, listen to me when I say this… *looks down at them, slowly stroking Kobura (Young)'s head* I trust you to be the man for mom and dad, y'hear…? For the family. For everyone…
Kobura (Young): *shaking, suddenly hugging him back desperately and sobbing into him*
???: It's alright… It's alright… *continues to hold them, comforting them the best he can*
Kobura (Voice): A day turned to a week, a week turned to a month, a month then felt like an eternity. He was gone for so long… and I haven't seen him since.
Tori (Spirit): Where had he gone? What mission could have made him disappear?
Kobura (Voice): *shows a time lapse of Kobura (Young) watching out the window, waiting for his big brother to come back with his team, Freezer slowly growing up next to him* I overheard from my father that it was a conflict with other planets. To this day, I still don't know what could've caused it. Wherever he is, I want to know he's safe. *shows Kobura (Young) slowly fade into the present Kobura* …And it fucking terrifies me what it could've been.
Tori (Spirit): *places a hand on his shoulder* Kobura… Your brother was a hero to you, that much is understood. However… What drives you to be a hero yourself?
Kobura: … *looks at his hand*
Tori (Spirit): Is it to be like your brother, or for yourself?
Kobura: *growls under his breath, then sighs* I don't know anymore…

Kobura: *tears up a bit, closing his eyes, the spirit realm fades out as it shows them both standing on the rock in the water again*
