Her top secret, very slow burn mission regarding Marty has been going on for about two months now. The only people who know the details are K and Randy. The secrecy helps with making the mission as authentic as possible. After all, Marty is GG, a small nuisance for CG. They don't want too many people to know unless the typically smart man got suspicious.

The siren wants to complete the mission as soon as possible. So the morning after the Casino hotel, April got straight to work. She contacted Marty thanking him for trying to offer her a ride. Due to that prior interaction, he had no suspicions about her initial intentions.

The siren didn't have to do much. The small bit of attention worked like a charm. After a couple of days of texting him first, she purposely missed a day and he texted her instead. After that, he texted and called her often. Marty made it clear pretty early on that he was into her which played in her favor.

Trap set and target locked.

A couple of week ago, April agreed with a sugary sweet smile to be the hacker's girlfriend. So now Marty thought the siren was into him and they were some kind of Romeo and Juliet thing.

The mission couldn't have been going better to be honest. Marty already gave her information after all. Not what she's after but information helpful to Mister K.

But the issue with only three people knowing?

Everyone else didn't.

The siren's been doing really good at not making it known that she even talked to Marty. Unfortunately, now that they were official, Marty pestered and bugged her the last few days to make the relationship public. She could tell his annoyance was growing day by day so in attempt to make sure this mission went well, she agreed to attend the court case with him.

Now they are at this fucking public court case for Yuno and X. Everyone from CB and GG are here. Even some members from HOA, MDM, and CG attended.

Luckily, Taco or Curtis weren't here or it would spell trouble for Marty, and for her mission in the long run. However, Ray came in support of her brother Yuno, and Autumn came in support of Ray. They both look disgusted and confused at the sight of the couple.

She knows they are confused about her sudden relationship with Marty. Especially considering they both knew who she really liked. And how that person felt towards Marty.

She had really, really, really hoped it wouldn't get to this point before she got the actual information she wants from Marty.

In a perfect world, Ramee or the rest of her gang wouldn't find out about her dating or talking in that way to a GG member (Marty of all people) yet. She wants it to be that by the time the vulture knew, it would be because the mission was over and she told him everything herself.

Technically, the vulture's busy today. Business meetings out of town that should preoccupy him for the next few days.

However, this court case being the first public display of Marty and her's "relationship" obviously gets them attention. None of it the kind April liked. She knows the news would find Ramee by the end of the day, and that's if he didn't know already. 

While Marty loved every second, April pretends to be happy. She secretly hated every moment that her family thought this was more than it was.

The siren physically had to hold back her grimace when the hacker's sweaty hand grabs her hand. While the hacker clings to her, she pretends to be a loving girlfriend. Avoiding Ray's judging steely eyes and keeping her hand locked with Marty's sweaty palm, April watches the case with faux interest and concern.
