April's best friend from her hometown comes to visit two weeks after graduation. April missed her dearly. Everything and everyone else in her hometown makes her want to vomit and run and never look back. Natalie's one thing that she's always found solace in.

The siren's known the purple haired girl since middle school. She's the only one who knows everything that's happened with her mom (even more than her ex husband). She's never judged her and never tried to give her the bullshit 'everything gets better' talk either. Natalie always kept it real with her and even now she doesn't judge how her life has turned out.

Of course, the first people they run into after she picks up Natalie at the hotel is some CG members. That's to be expected since she is at the Little Seoul gas station that they claim.

She's in the gas station with Natalie but on the phone complaining to some guy about who knows what when she feels a light tug on her hair. Turning midway through her conversation, she sees Ramee grabbing a drink from the fridge behind her. Excited to see him and introduce him to Natalie, she rushes to hang up the phone on the guy.

"Ramee!" The siren tries to contain the excitement in her voice. She pulls Natalie over to Ramee and a newly arrived Taco and introduces them. The boys are super sweet and Ramee even offers her a gift when she talks about losing her job.

When the vulture ask the purplette to follow him, April frowns and wonders if he's going to give her money or something. She mutters to Natalie that she better give her half the money if he gives her any.

April is distracted by Mister K when she tries to follow after Natalie, Ramee, and Taco. The two are giggling when Ramee runs back over with a huge and mischievous smile on his face. She blinks surprised when he states he just bought Natalie a place. When April sees that the "place" the vulture gave her friend is just a tent, she scolds him for the rudeness but Natalie seems to love it.

Everything is going fine until Taco mentions Marty for some reason.

Well...

There is a reason. He'd caught her texting Marty a day or two ago. It literally is only because the guy couldn't take a hint so she had been in the middle of turning him down. For the 100th time.

Taco saw a glimpse of her phone and all he saw was Marty saying April's his "secret lover" or some shit and he snapped at her.

The man is not a fan of his best friend of years being snaked and she understood that. She did not get the chance to clear things up with the chubby man either.

So now he's mentioning Marty in front of Ramee, who's not too far away. And of course, the sharp eared man hears it and questions her about it.

The nervous siren is quick to explain that Marty was just being a thirsty bitch and there is absolutely nothing going on. She even shocks herself by offering to show her recent texts to confirm that. Mister K is there along with Natalie and Lucas observing the entire thing as well.
