Some say words look beautiful,
Sparkling like that bright diamond
Speaking of so much with just a mind,
Clouded
Agree some nods
But in reality can a paper get you punished?
A man eyes lifeless walking on the pavement.
Sponsor he ask
But walks away with an empty hand
For a pocket,
The news announcing a sex offender
Somewhere a girl thinks over about that girl,
Is she safe?
Is she ok?
But pray though she doesn't know
That girl a soul still leaks within,
A customer a man with a head full of storms
Argues with the cashier, though the cashier herself confused
Holds tears at bay, calming her own storms
From within,
A long walk home,
Trouble awaits like a driver
Waiting for it's passenger,
A door slam a shout,
A room silent,
A throw of a pillow
I sigh again-
and it seems Like
I sigh more lately
Often. The leaves circling around like ring of roises
The sound of a truck honk
The ring of a store bell
A story waiting to be tell
Awkward glances and more after more beyond more.
I sigh looking past the store glass as me, but as someone else, looking back at me.-ashes poetry
