catching up

I want to sleep forever and forget
That my pain ever exist.
I want to sleep and not have the alarm
Screaming it's lungs,
telling me to "get your hip up for work!"
Or get your hip up for school.
That drains the life out of you that you try to hold on to day by passing flowers
Sway
I want to sleep and finish my fantasy dream that's just not a tragic reality
But in my head it's a beautiful little family,
I want to sleep forever and not have to
Socialize and pretend I'm chipper all the time,
I want to sink in the clouds like a blanket and bask in there just for a moment,
Can I stay still in my bed and watch the time run ahead, Catching bus, catching flight, and other daily every day life
I want to read after I finish sleep, and like a stranger I'll people watch others life but in a book where characters hold specific places in my heart reminding me that I'm not alone
But I can't sleep forever because time doesn't waits and Your future starts the day you decide to get out of bed.
