I had a week of holiday, so decide to spend half of it with my family at home and the rest of it with Adam which was excited to have some free time together.
I spent 4 days at home and the last day there I felt so sad because im going to miss my family again, so I tried to have the maximum possible of conversations with them; well, I got thing to tell and preferable to tell my sister and my mom because they re the only ones that got to know me the most ...
- Mom: so, how's the workplace?
- Rimass: actually, I was working on two paintings for a German woman about feminism.
- Mom: that's good! And what about the guy that you re working with? Does he treat you well?
- Rimass: he's nice and friendly, working with him feels so comfortable and he's so caring and things are so good, yea!
- Jihane(sister): amm caring?
- Rimass: yes, I mean when im sick or tired, he takes care of me, he gives me days-off when in got things to do, so im not supposed to work quotidianly, just when im free!
- Jihane: that weird, because no one does that for free!
- Mom: yea, and your boss is not obligated to take care of you!
- Rimass: he's not just my boss...
My face turned red, and couldn't start that conversation but I had to...
- Mom: how?
- Rimass: he said he likes me so he wants to get to know me more, until we re ready to get married...
- Jihane: married?!!
- Mom: I thought you always said that you want to be independent, successful and you re not ready yet to take that responsibility!
- Rimass: I said when we r ready for it not now! And im saying we just started to know each other, but want something serious not just dating for fun, because im not that playful type of girls... you know me!
- Mom: im not okey with this!
- Rimass: come on mom! Im not saying im giving up on my dreams or stop my studies, but a human im having feelings that better to let them be in marriage than spend years on crushing on someone! Do you understand that?
- Mom: im not asking you to control your feelings, im just saying that you should be careful and don't let anyone play with you feelings and dump you... you know whats good for you but you don't know people's intentions, this kind of relationships rarely end well, and im just trying to protect you, im not judging!
- Rimass: yes mom! I understand... but trust me, I keep my precautions, I know what im doing really and im not letting anyone take advantage of me... okey?
- Mom: okey, be careful!
- Jihane: wanna see your husband... how does he looks like? Is he handsome?
- Rimass: Jihane! Stop!
- Jihane: come on! Show me!
- Rimass: later...okey?
- Jihane: okey...
I spent the day helping mom in HomeWorks while she keeps asking me about Adam, and how work's going with him, activities we usually do and I showed her some of his pictures so she seemed to like him apparently...
While talking I heard my phone ringing, I found that it was Adam, my mom asked about who was it and I told her that's him so she said she wanna talk to him... I was shocked because I didn't expect that...
I told him first to not surprise him :
- Adam , my mom wanna talk to you now...
- Yes sure , give her the phone!
- Be polite!
- No need to tell me that ...
- Okey hh
He was like he was waiting for that , I gave her the phone and stayed close to listen to what they re going to say.
- Adam: Hey aunty.
- Mom: hey son! How re you?
- Adam: im good thanks to god and you
- Mom: im fine son. So Rimass told me a lot about you...
- Adam: hope she said something good
- Mom: all good
- Adam: aunty, I wanna admit that I really love your daughter, and I'm serious with her that I want to spend my life with her, trust me that if I wasn't serious I won't start a relationship, we re just waiting for the right time to make our relationship official and bring my parents to meet you and her dad...
- Mom: yes that for sure, but you know that you should keep limits because we don't believe here in dating things , if you want her marry her!
- Adam: yes aunty that what im planning , im just waiting for her to finish her studies, I can come now with my parents, I don't mind but this was her choice to wait so I just respect that...
I was listening to the most embarrassing conversation in my life and trying to cover my face everytime I feel so shy..
- Mom: okey son, we will see just don't hurt her, I warn you
- Adam: no worries , I love her in a way you cant imagine, she's just the most perfect girl I ve ever seen, how could I hurt her... I cant lose such a kind, smart and pretty girl like her! I respect her too much and I just wanna spend the rest of my life with Rimass, she's the right one and I wont let her for anybody else!
- Mom: god bless both of you..
I was staring with eyes full of tears out of happiness and I was touched by his words, because he said things bravely to my mom and admitted things that way I never expected and never heard from him... omg! I love him!
Mom declined and looked at me with a wide smile which means that she likes him maybe, or she's happy about it all. Seems speechless, me too, I had no idea what I have to say just took the phone and went to my bedroom...
I took my diary and started writing my feelings and my thoughts on it, I was super happy because it was the first time in my life I feel like things are perfect as I wished...
