"I hate the world! No, wrong wording, I hate people!" Riley huffed into the phone and the girls on the other side just sighed.
"Everything is gonna clear up. Just like last time!" Emma tried to reassure her but it didn't seem to help much.
Emma, Zoe and Millie were hanging out when a totally stressed Riley called them. To no one's surprise the latter was really shaken up by the recent accuses especially because this time almost no one seemed to believe her.
Changbin had also tried to call her several times but Riley was scared of what he was going to say.
It appeared that the girl at the aiport had a friend take a video of the whole incident but had it cut so Riley was standing in the bad light.
At first Riley didn't pay much mind to it and continued with her day, ignoring Changbin. But with the post going viral since the last few days she doesn't know what to do, trying to find the true video footage was impossible.
Maybe everything would blow down over time?
Riley didn't have much hope in that matter, but she had always been a very pessimistic person.
"Have you talked to Changbin?" Millie asked suddenly causing Riley to freeze in her actions.
"No...?" It came out more as a question and Riley knew that this was not the right way to handle things.
"Riley!" Millie exclaimed and looked at her twin with disappointment in her eyes.
"I know, I know. I'll call him later to meet up okay?" This seemed enough for Millie as her next task at hand was to distract her sister from the ongoing rumours.
"We need to hang up now, it's getting late" Zoe explained after a few more hours of spending in the skype call.
"Oh yeah sure, goodnight guys"
"Bye Ry" The three said at the same time and the call ended.
Riley let her body fall backwards on her mattress and rubbed her eyes. Her friends were actually able to free her mind from all those negative thoughts that had been crowding her mind ever since she got on the plane back to Seoul.
She really had to talk to Changbin and she was well aware of that but she was scared. She actually doesn't even remember a time she felt this insecure and scared.
Well maybe after their first big fight but this still felt different.
flashback
"We didn't see each other for almost five months and now you don't even want to spent time with me?"
Riley was clearly upset but from her perspective she had every right to be. Stray Kids was busy with promotions and a tour for the last four and a half months and they just arrived back in Seoul the day before.
"When we got together you knew of the possible chance of me debuting. And when I did you said you would still stick by my side even when my schedule gets busier. I told you I was busy and that I have a free day in two weeks okay?"
"You have a free day today and tomorrow" Riley mumbled silently. Hyunjin had informed her about the groups schedule because he assumed that Changbin would want to spent his days off with his girlfriend.
Changbin seemingly cought on to what Riley said because he took a big sigh. "I almost had no time for myself those months and tomorrow I'm meeting up with old school friends. I didn't see them for just as long"
Riley was hurt. She knew all of Changbin's friends and back in their high school days they always hung out as a big group. She didn't knew why Changbin suddenly felt the need to exclude her from those hangouts.
