Chapter 24

"You are hopeless, Ry. Utterly in love with your ex" Zoe teased Riley after the latter had told her the events from last nights business event.

Zoe was visiting the twins in Seoul at the moment, having arrived earlier this morning. Of course Riley immediately told her best friend what had happened between her and Changbin with Millie also joining the two.

"You still love him" Millie neutrally stated, not expecting Riley's answer. "Of course I am, I think he is the love of my life but I'm the one who broke it off. I can't just go back saying 'Hey Changbin, you know what. I changed my mind of us being better apart. Will you take me back?'"

The two other girls slowly processed what Riley just admitted. "I think even if you would say it exactly like that, he would want to be back together with you. Especially after what you've told me", Zoe said, internally loving the fact that her favourite ship was still somewhat sailing.

Meanwhile Millie was thinking of how she could convince Riley to talk about her feelings with Changbin and not think that even whishing to get back together was a crime.

"Whatever, enough about me, how is everyone in London?"

"I don't want to sound clingy. She broke up with me for a reason, a good one at that, she wanted those boundaries. So when I now tell her that she is the love of my life and nothing would ever change that, it would mean pushing those boundaries too far!"

2Racha were looking at their fellow member with tired eyes. The latter had been complaining to them for almost half an hour and all kind of reassurances from the other two were useless, Changbin had his mind set that pushing the friendship boundaries would be something bad.

They didn't know how they should convince their friend to just talk it out as they were sure Riley felt the same. Changbin didn't want to hear any of that though.

"When are you meeting up again?" Jisung finally interrupted his rambling.

"I don't know, she said she would come to our next concert though" Changbin said and the little sparkle in his eyes made his group members smile.

"That's next week, you could ask her to go to hers afterwards?" Chan suggested with a teasing undertone.

"But when the concert ends it's late and I don't want to drive through the city in the middle of the night" Changbin replied but a look at his phone screen showed that he had opened the chat with Riley, debating on what to say.

"So what?" Jisung smiled smugly, "You could just stay over at her place"

"No! I... well- no- I can't... just do that" Changbin stuttered while his face became a deep shape of red.

"Yes you can!" Jisung replied, the teasing glint not leaving his eyes.

"But randomly asking her if I could stay over at hers after the concert is simply weird" Changbin argued back, both Chan and Jisung noticing that he never denied wanting to stay at hers.

"You don't need to ask to stay over for the night, do you?" Chan started and after seeing Changbin's confused expression, he continued, "You could just ask her if the two of you should meet up after the concert, coincidentally then go to hers. We all know Riley, she would never let you leave in the middle of the night."

Chan's plan was actually quite smart so Changbin fished for his phone to sent the girl a message.

Just a few minutes later Riley responded with a thumbs up and 'sounds good'.

"I didn't think this through!" Changbin whined while all the members were backstage, waiting to start the concert.
