Now

"Wow.... I never saw that coming", Akira-san exclaims and Seiran simply nods in agreement.

"To live as a tenet rather than a Yakuza member... I never expected that to happen... But I still don't understand one thing", Reina says and everyone in the archives room looks at her and the elderly journalist asks, "What part you didn't understand, Reina-chan?"

"I mean, allowing him to stay just because he lived with a code of chivalry that was similar to theirs... It just doesn't make any sense! I mean... if I lived the same way, would I get to live there... Yeah, Izuku might have protected his family heirloom, but what the boss did just doesn't sit well with me", Reina explains and Seiran simply nods. The elderly woman rubs her covered arms a bit slightly, as if she was feeling cold and she replies, "You're worry comes from the right place. Nowadays an act of kindness is always probed with suspicion. It's common to believe that there must be a hidden motive of the people who help us. But let me assure you, Oyabun was not that type of person. He might have been a yakuza head, but he was still a good person who would help a person in need. That was in his character. Izuku was not the only person who was helped by him. Sakuragi, Mori, even Overhaul were the people who he has helped".

"But that didn't stop Overhaul from taking over the Shie Hassaikai", Reina retorts to which Seiran chuckles and replies, "Well he was under the delusion that it was helping the boss".

Reina doesn't say anything but simply looks at the senior journalist and with a sigh, she says, "Overhaul is one fucked up person".

"If you come to know the things he did, calling him fucked up is you just being mild", Seiran replies.

"You are implying that Overhaul is more than fucked up", Reina shoots back.

"I can think of all the existing profanities to describe him. He is... not someone I'm fond of exactly", Seiran says to which Reina retorts, "You are talking as if you have personally met him". A haunting look grows on the elderly journalist and from the corner of her eyes, the chief editor saw Naoki shift a bit slightly, but within a millisecond, Seiran takes a deep breath and replies, "Maybe".

Sensing the topic of Overhaul was a bit controversial and uncomfortable for the elderly journalist, Reina asks, "Leave that... We can talk about him later. Tell me how Izuku's life was at Shie Hassaikai. More importantly, I'm curious about his training".

The author was grateful for the change in topic, from what Reina could say and she says, "Hmmm. It was definitely an eventful one. Let's just say that Mori-san is a demon when it comes to teaching".

Then

Izuku never knew what he was signing up for and in this one week, he has regretted choosing to stay at least 25 dozen times. First of all, did he say how big this place was? It was big, but did he say how big-big this place was? There were a lot of rooms in the outer buildings but that was nothing compared to what Izuku found buried here and he means it literally. Underground tunnels run through the entire area and what Izuku perceived was a normal block of building was actually in fact very deep. Izuku was not allowed to explore these tunnels considering he was not a member, but Mori-san was planning to train him in a basement arena which was kind of an underground gym and shooting gallery. From what he had heard, these tunnels had existed a long time ago, but they had been recently renovated by a guy named Kai Chisaki using his quirk and honestly speaking, Izuku was very curious of him.

He also had to learn about rankings that were used in the SH as well. It was not necessary, but if Izuku was going to live here, he might as well learn them too. Oyabun, whose name he came to know as Satoshi Nakamura, was obviously the head or as some members referred to him, Kumicho or Oya . Under him were three ranks, namely Saiko-Kommon , Wakagashira and Shatei Gashira . Saiko-Kommon or senior advisor is the head of a series of advisors that handle the corporate side of the SH and this post was usually reserved to the friend of the Oyabun. Izuku had a shock of his life, when he came to know from Mori-san that the current Saiko-Kommon was actually Adachi-san, the senior lawyer who Izuku went to for advice regarding his mother's will. It was a very small world indeed!
