Location: I-Island, Beyond Japanese Waters

I-Island. The silicon valley of the world. Well it was Silicon Island to be exact. World's greatest minds come here together to work on the next big thing or research their great ideas. It was a technological paradise for techie and geeks and it was a great honor for Izuku to get a chance to walk on this artificial island that only few common people had got the chance to walk on.

Established in the year 2099, this island was a marvel of modern engineering that has no rival till now. Large walls surround the island like that one age old anime about large humanoid monsters with only few openings for ships and air traffic. Inside the walls is a sprawling cityscape. Some even argue that there are four cities within the walls divided by water bodies and even Izuku would agree, but that would be an exaggeration. They were mostly sectors and if by any chance it had four cities, the island would have been even larger, which it was not. Powered by a nuclear reactor and a wind turbine generation system, this was an island that moved from place to place, so it didn't come under any country, but it also wasn't considered an independent nation. There were also artificial lakes, beaches and greenery to explore as well as a residential area that houses the scientist that lives there.

But even though this place mainly consists of scientists and men of science, it also had every single facility that could be found in any major city in the world. There were restaurants, there were movie theaters and many other things. The most important architecture in this entire island was the central tower. Built sturdier than a bomb shelter, this 200 storey tower was the heart and brain of the entire island. Underneath this tower, in its basement was the Nexus, where every single information on the internet passes through. This tower had everything that could be considered a scientist's wet dream. Name the thing, this tower had it. It was wonderful how this tower even stood without much support. This tower was impossible to exist.

And security? The island's security system is so efficient that it could be compared to Tartarus. At one point in the past, the entire security was handled by security drones, robots who can withstand quirks and restraining devices comparable to iron maidens. Even All Might couldn't break out of the restraining device used by these robots. But the security was overhauled because of an attack that happened three years ago.

Dubbed as 'The I-Island Incident' , this attack was the first and only attack that has happened to the island since the beginning of its run time. It was the time when the rumored I-Expo was going to take place, opening the island's gate to the public for the first time in 225 years. The villains infiltrated the island one day before the expo, and hijacked the inauguration ceremony that was taking place at the central tower that night. The entire security system was compromised and even All Might ended up being a hostage due to security being hacked by the villains. But mysteriously, the control over the security was taken back and All Might saved the day. But it came with a heavy cost. The tower suffered some damages and few of the civilians who came to the island few days prior for the expo, suffered injuries from the bots. There were few casualties, the most important one being Dr. David Shield, All Might's former side-kick and the island's most important scientist, a Nobel prize winner. He succumbed to his injuries while he was at the hospital, getting treated for the said injuries he suffered from the ring leader.

Because of that incident, there were some changes that took place in the security system. Now security personnel worked together with the bots. The I-Expo was canceled forever and the gates that were going to be opened for the public, shut down for good. Any contacts that could have been made before to the outside world were stopped. The only people who could visit this island were the scientists, the people who work here, the elite people of the world, the government officials from all over the world and people who were invited, just like Izuku.
