"So Izuku's life was coming back on track. An internship under, who I assume as an eccentric but a well respected and good natured scientist and a good friend in Melissa. Must have been nice right... to live at I-Island", Reina says with a smile on her face.

"Yeah. It was nice. Being cut off from the rest of the world was a downside, but it was definitely nice till it lasted", Seiran says with a knowing smile.

Reina couldn't help but sigh and say, "With how the story has been going, I kind of expected that. I guess being Izuku Midoriya means that the universe would take every single opportunity to screw up your life".

"You can say that. It's as if destiny had a personal vendetta with him. Seeing him suffer all this time was definitely painful to watch", Seiran says with a distant look on her face.

"You are saying as if you personally saw him go through all this stuff", Reina points out.

For a few seconds, Seiran doesn't say anything but the turmoil of emotions that ran across her face was definitely something to see. It was as if she was an open book but it was written in a completely different language, which caused Reina to second guess most of the things she thought about the senior journalist. At one moment, she even assumed that Seiran was no one but Izuku's half-sister in disguise, but that didn't make sense at all. It was as if staying in the room made her lose all her logical reasoning and revert to childlike wonder with how the elderly woman narrated the story.

"I'm saying what I heard from the other sources", Seiran finally says.

"You took a lot of time to say that", says Reina.

"I'm a woman in my seventies. Can you blame me?" Seiran asks.

"But it seems like you remember this story very well", says the chief editor.

This causes the elderly journalist to lean forward and with a serious tone, she says, "Even if I forget who I am and everything else, this is one thing I will never forget. It is seared in my memories. Even if I want to forget it, I won't. If I forget it, who is going to tell his story? If I forget this, how will people come to know about his pain and his sacrifices? I refuse to forget this".

Reina doesn't say a word but remains quiet at that declaration her guest just did. She then leans back and says, "At least this time no one is going to stop you from telling his story".

This causes Seiran to smile a bit and she says, "I've to thank you and Akira-kun for that".

"We are just doing our job, Seiran-san. Being transparent has always been the ideals of Juzo news", Reina replies and this causes the elderly journalist to smile even more. For second, they don't and feeling that there was no time to waste, Reina asks, "So what happened?"

"It was the year 2328. Izuku's nineteenth birthday was around the corner but he was not particularly excited for it, because he had his hands full with a project he had started", says Seiran.

"What project?" Akira asks.

"To create a human compatible artificial Lykozin that not only can be taken in like hormonal shots, but it can affect a person's DNA to such an extent that its effect can be observed in children that will be born later", is the reply Seiran gives.

The entire studio is shocked by the revelation and Akira couldn't help but exclaim, "That's like a sophisticated version of Trigger".

"Well I would like to call it a legal version of Trigger", says Seiran.

"What's a Trigger?" Reina asks.

The elderly journalist looks at the chief editor and says, "Trigger was a drug that boosted a person's quirk exponentially. Consuming and acquiring it was considered an illegal practice because of the side effects it caused. Deranged behavior, addiction, blackened tongues, quirk insanity, bloodlust, even death. Japan was in fact a hotbed for Trigger sales. A lot of villains took it to have a fighting chance against heroes".
