Andy drove through traffic, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel as he and Lonny headed to rehearsals for their upcoming tour.
"Are you worried about that Corona thing?" Lonny asked suddenly, looking up from his phone.
Andy glanced at the younger man out of the corner of his eye, and shrugged. "It doesn't sound great, but we'll take whatever precautions we can, and hope for the best." Andy said. He didn't have any answers, the label kept telling them things would be fine, but the news seemed to be saying a different story.
"Do you think tour might get canceled?" Lonny asked, partially nervous about the events transpiring in the world.
"I don't know, Lon. We'll just have to play it by ear." Andy replied, he could tell Lonny was nervous, but there wasn't much he could do to change that.
Lonny merely nodded at this, and went back to his phone. He was worried about everything, and was terrified about the possibility of having to push shows back. Hopefully things weren't as bad as people thought it was.
Of course this would happen right before Lonny's first tour with the band. That was just his luck.
Lonny messed with one of the bracelets around his wrist. It was the charm bracelet from the night collection that Andy did with Never Take It Off, because of course. (Lonny owned a few pieces from Andy's line, but that one specifically was one of the prototypes they had come up with, and Andy gave it to him.)
He traced the ridges of the rose charm, staring out the window as he thought about everything going on. His introduction to the band had gone wonderfully, the fans accepted him with open arms, and flooded him with love and congratulations. Lonny felt so lucky to be apart of this band, and all he wanted was to make everyone in the bvb army proud of him.
Andy glanced at the younger man out of the corner of his eye, frowning at the pensive look on his face, and poked the side of his head, grinning when Lonny's nose wrinkled.
"What's with the face, Lonnis?" He asked, though the answer was obvious.
"Just nervous about tour, I guess." Lonny shrugged.
Andy hummed, unsure of what to say to comfort the younger man. "Are you nervous shows will get pushed back or about this being your first tour with us?" He asked gently.
"A bit of both I guess?" Lonny admitted honestly. "I just don't want to mess up and disappoint the fans or you and the guys."
Andy's heart melted at this, and he sighed. "Aww, sweetie." He said, hoping he wasn't coming off as condescending, because he wasn't trying to be. That was genuinely so sweet and precious and oh so Lonny.
"You're going to be amazing, the fans already love you, the guys all agree that you were a perfect addition to the band, and a much needed breath of fresh air, and you already know I love you and think you're the best ever." Andy said, reaching over to ruffle Lonny's hair affectionately.
"I-. I mean, I guess you're probably right." The bassist shrugged, still feeling a bit insecure.
"I am, so get used to it. You're freakishly talented and a wonderful human being." Andy said, smiling slightly when Lonny appeared to get bashful at the compliments.
"I love you too by the way, and I also think you're awesome, and talented, and funny, and-." Lonny smiled, snorting when Andy huffed dramatically.
