The band has been on the road for awhile. After the year and a half long forced break due to the pandemic, none of them are quite used to being away from home anymore.
Jinxx is sitting on the couch, cooing at little Lennon over facetime.

"I miss you so much buddy, maybe when you're a little bigger you can hit the road with us." He said, earning a laugh from his wife, Alice.

"Yeah maybe he can start opening for us!" CC exclaimed from the back lounge.

"Yeah and since none of us have kids we can get Pat's girls to be in his little band." Andy drawled, smiling playfully at the violinist while he stretched out on the couch across from him.

"Oh my God and Ceese's raccoons can be the mascots." Jake cackled, leaning back in his chair as Jinxx rolled his eyes, turning his attention from his tour family to his actual family.

Lonny watched the interaction quietly, a small smile playing at his lips as he listened to Jake and Jon -their production manager- argue the validity of mixing small children and wild animals for entertainment.

He jumped slightly as he felt a hand brush his thigh, glancing to his left he sees the hand belongs to their frontman, who is scrolling through his phone absentmindedly as he gently rubs patterns into Lonny's sweatpant clad leg with his thumb.

Lonny looked at Andy hoping to catch his eye but to know avail. He didn't want to draw attention to it or make things weird, despite his near constant teasing, Andy is an incredibly affectionate person so this isn't that out of the ordinary.

The bassist eventually relaxed into the touch, turning his attention back to Jon and Jake, who have now changed the subject to something Lonny was completely unfamiliar with and frankly uninterested in, but his phone was dead and his charger was in the bunk so he might as well listen.

He would get up to get it but he was exhausted from the show so didn't bother(not because he doesn't want Andy to stop stroking his leg)

"You're awfully quiet." Andy murmured softly, breaking the silence between them.
Lonny paused for a moment, startled by his sudden words.

"Just tired from the show is all." Lonny replied, matching Andy's volume.

Andy hummed, sliding his hand up and down his thigh slowly, keeping his gaze fixed on his phone. Lonny fought to suppress a shudder from the intimacy of the touch.

The vocalist finally glanced up at Lonny, giving him a soft smile. Lonny's breath caught in his throat, Andy's smile always had that effect on him for some reason.

"We should be at the hotel any minute, we're still sharing a room right?" He asked, his hand slowing to a stop.

"Ye-um yeah of course man." Lonny stuttered out, his heart skipping a beat.
Andy's smile widens, gently squeezing Lonny's thigh before turning back to his phone, continuing to rub Lonny's thigh.
CC walks into the main area of the bus, flopping down onto the couch next to Lonny.

"Hey dude, since we have a day off tomorrow, you wanna go to the hotel gym with me?" The CC asked.

"Yeah sure C." Lonny said, turning his attention to the drummer. CC glanced down and paused, Lonny was confused until he remembered Andy's hand.

He opened and closed his mouth a few times, trying to find the words to explain but unsure how seeing he didn't really know why Andy was doing it.

CC met his gaze, an unreadable expression crosses his features before he grins.
"Awesome! Text me tomorrow when you get up...if you're not too tired of course." He said slyly, playfully jabbing him on the arm before hopping up and heading to his bunk to grab his stuff.
