Lonny sat on a chair next to the window in his hotel room, strumming his guitar softly as rain pelted against the pane.
It was week two of the Ghost of Ohio tour, and so far, it had been amazing. He was nervous still, but Andy was so cool and so nice. They always said never meet your heroes, but it seemed that in this case, the statement wasn't true.
Andy and Lonny were quickly becoming close, and the guitarist wasn't mad about it in the slightest. Andy was a genuinely great guy, and he liked being friends with him.
That was such an odd thing, being friends with one of your favorite musicians, but life was strange, wasn't it? He still couldn't believe that he had made it onto the tour. Sometimes he wanted to kiss Beaux for recommending him to Andy and his management team.
Lonny could hear Andy moving around in the bathroom, the sound of the shower had disappeared ma few minutes ago, but Lonny hadn't paid much attention.
He closed his eyes, humming along as he played Landslide softly. It wasn't his all time favorite Fleetwood Mac song, but it was always nice to play when he was warming up, or just relaxing.
Lonny heard the shudder of a camera, and glanced up to see Andy standing in the doorway of the bathroom with a Polaroid camera in hand, and a grin on his face as he pointed it ar Lonny. He was wearing a pair of black joggers, and a thin cross necklace around his throat, his hair wet and slicked back.
It was a distracting sight to say the least.
"Why?" Lonny asked with a chuckle, trying not to stare at the singer as he lowered the camera, his bright eyes twinkling.
"Good shot, couldn't resist." Andy shrugged, sitting his camera back onto the bed in front of him, sitting the photo next to it as he waited for it to develop. "First time I've gotten my camera out on this tour." He said, grabbing a shirt, and tugged it over his head.
"I didn't know you were into photography." Lonny mused, going back to playing his guitar.
"Ehh not exactly, I just love Polaroids." Andy shrugged, snatching up the photo and sat down on the chair across from the guitarist.
"Can I see it?" Lonny asked curiously.
"Fuck no." Andy scoffed, watching the younger man with a playful grin.
"Oh okay." Lonny said, feeling slightly bad. Maybe photography was super personal to Andy?
"Oh my god, I'm fucking with you, sweetie." Andy sighed in mock exasperation, shaking his head in amusement as he held out the the Polaroid for Lonny to take.
"Sweetie? Really?" Lonny chuckled as he took the photo from him, their fingers brushing slightly. It was a beautiful photo, the lighting, the rain outside, and Lonny sitting there with his eyes closed, seemingly lost in the music.
"Yeah, you're too sweet, too kind, it's weird." Andy said, watching as Lonny's smile grew as he looked at the photograph.
"I'll be sure to work on that." Lonny joked, feeling Andy's eyes on him.
"Don't you fucking dare." Andy exclaimed, making Lonny look up at him, his expression a mixture of surprise and amusement. "I love the fact that you act like you were built last week. Please never change." He said.
Lonny laughed at this, sitting the Polaroid on the table next to them. "Built last week?" He repeated in amusement.
"Yeah it's like you have no baggage at all, you're just positive and professional and-." Andy said, realizing that he was rambling. "I like you exactly as you are. I know I tease you a lot, but it's just because I genuinely do like you."
