It was a cool day in Vancouver, Canada and a line of people snaked around a venue waiting for the doors to open for the show.
Lonny bounced on the balls of his feet in anticipation as he waited outside in the chilly air.
It was the first time he was getting to see one of his new favorite bands live. Black veil brides was an over the top, glam metal band that Lonny had discovered a few months prior and instantly fell in love with them both sonically and aesthetically.
From the inspirational lyrics and loud guitars to the dramatic makeup and body paint. Lonny loved it all.
Each member had their own unique look and personalities that the young musician looked up to, especially their frontman: Andy Biersack(or sixx as he used to be known as).
The singer was a creative genius as far as Lonny was concerned and a brilliant performer. His charisma and humor paired with his undeniable good looks and deep voice made him a force to be reckoned with.
The fans waiting outside kept themselves occupied by talking, laughing and singing anything from bvb themselves to smashmouth at the top of their lungs.
Finally the doors opened and the crowd spilled into the building, some going to the merch booth while others- Lonny included- filed into the arena and he was grateful he decided to come early because he managed to get right up front at the barricades.
Crew moved around the stage, doing final checks to make sure everything was set up properly and talking into walkie talkies to relay messages to other crew members.
A few minutes passed and the house lights finally dimmed and the opening band came onto stage, recieving a warm welcome from the bvb army.
The opener was good and Lonny enjoyed their set a lot, bobbing his head and moshing with the rest of the pit, but all he was interested in was seeing bvb.
"Thank you so much for your hospitality Vancouver! You fucking rocked!" The lead singer of the band yelled, smiling at the cheers from the audience before exiting the stage with the rest of his band.
The audience was buzzing with excitement as they waited and suddenly someone screamed. "CC!!!"
Lonny looked up to see the drummer standing on the riser behind his kit, sticking his tongue out and holding up devil horns as he sat down, twirling a drumstick in his hand before hitting the kick drum.
The crowd roared, growing louder when he did it again, suddenly Jake and Jinxx walked out on stage, smiling at the sea of fans and waving before the started playing.
The floor vibrated with the loud music as the song started and the the colorful lights flashed dramatically and finally, the frontman ran out onto the stage and grabbed the mic as they went into Knives and Pens, running back and forth on the stage and smiling widely.
Lonny screamed along to the lyrics of every song, the show was absolutely phenomenal. It was exhilarating watching the singer bounce around on stage, singing his heart out and screaming.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS UP, VANCOUVER?" Andy screamed into the mic, grinning at the cheers and shouts of excitement from the crowd.
"Alright we're gonna play a song by a guy named Billy Idol called Rebel Yell!" He shouted the title, turning as the band started playing and taking a swig of Seagram 7 whiskey that had been sitting on the drum riser before running back and grabbing the mic and singing the first verse.
Something caught Andy's eye as he scanned over the crowd. Or someone, to be exact.
A boy around his age with a mess of curly black hair and a bright smile stood at the front near the barricade, singing along and headbanging.
