Lonny quickly discovered that avoiding someone that you lived with during a pandemic where you literally couldn't leave the house was a lot harder than he thought it would be.

Shocking to absolutely no one.

It's not that Lonny didn't want to be around Andy... he just didn't want to deal with the fact that he had feelings for him, and being in his presence 24/7 wasn't making things easier on him.

He felt bad about it, Andy didn't do anything, he didn't ask for Lonny to catch feelings for him. He literally hasn't been anything but a wonderful friend and bandmate.

This sucked.

Lonny actually hated this.

And the worst part about it all is that because he and Andy were living together, the singer had become incredibly comfortable with showing affection or just simply feeling relaxed enough around Lonny to not keep up a front in his own home.

In other words, Andy walking around in just a towel, throwing his arms around the bassist casually or leaving playful, smacking kisses on his cheek was normal.

This morning was no different.

Andy came downstairs, only in a pair of black boxer briefs that left little to the imagination, and a toothbrush in his mouth.

Lonny tried not to look too closely, ignoring the trail of hair under his navel that lead to-

Nope, Lonny didn't want to think about that.

"Morning." Andy greeted, though his words were muffled from the toothbrush.

"Good morning." Lonny finally choked out, turning his attention back to the dishes, scrubbing at a pan diligently.

Andy walked over, leaning back against the counter next to him as he continued to brush his teeth. "Blasko gave us the green light to go back in the studio." He said.

"Really? That's awesome!" Lonny said happily.

"Yeah, we'll have to wear masks and social distance, but as long as we keep a social bubble so to speak of just the band, then it will be fine." Andy replied, spitting the toothpaste into the sink. He grabbed a cup from the drying rack and filled it to rinse his mouth out.

"In the kitchen sink?" Lonny asked, wrinkling his nose.

"That side is empty and it's my house so suck my dick." Andy retorted, sticking his tongue out at the bassist.

Lonny didn't know how to respond to that in a way that wasn't filthy or inappropriate so he just scoffed, and went back to the dishes.

'Just think about the dishes, don't think about Andy. Don't think about his eyes, or his messy hair, or his body. Fuck, his body-.' Lonny shook his head violently, trying to clear his mind from those thoughts.

"The hell?" Andy laughed, scrunching his nose up in amusement as he stared confusedly at the bassist.

"Food touched my hand." Lonny lied quickly.

Andy watched him silently before he shrugged, grabbing the dish from Lonny's hand, and sat it in the dishwasher.

"Oh you don't have-." Lonny started, his heart rate spiking as their fingers brushed.
