Chapter 48

Irene's POV

Lisa is now with us and I can now finally breath in relief, I'm sure now that she's safe with us.

Seulgi was worried though because she said Lisa must have been love Jennie's company since she start living with her.

I don't care, the most important is she's now with us and live in peace.

As of the moment Lisa can't be calmed down and we are having a hard time thinking of any idea. Usually we give her ice cream and she would stop but now she doesn't care whatever we give, she cry loudly everytime I tell her it's gonna be okay.

I'm worried because she didn't ate anything, she skip lunch and dinner. She didn't touch her food which I put on her bedside table. It's already late like around 11:30 PM and she's staring outside the window or moreover looking at the road maybe hoping for Jennie's car to pullover.

Her tears fall everytime a car would pass by and won't stop infront of the house. It tears me apart.

"Lisa.." I softly called for her.

She didn't even glance at me.

"Lisa please listen to unnie. I'm sorry that you have to witness our fight but please eat even if a little"

She shakes her head.

"You want milk? Wait I'll go get it" I know Lisa won't say no because she likes to drink milk.

I get back to where she is.

"Here baby"

I receive nothing. She didn't even speak. I sigh because of how she behaves, my poor baby.

"Irene" Seulgi called me as she stands on the doorframe "Leave her for a while"

I made my way to her sighing "Seulgi she didn't eat anything. I'm worried"

We both went out and I close the door slowly, Seulgi speak up when we arrived at the living room as we sit on the couch.

"I think we should let her be with Jennie" I can't believe what she's saying.

Out of all people why Seulgi? Are you out of your mind?

"No! That woman ruin our lives!"

"That's why she came here, to fix the mess she made Irene. I also hated Jennie but seeing her a while ago, I know she change"

"She's two faced Seulgi! She's fooling us again!"

"Irene can't you see! Lisa doesn't feel her home here anymore! She change! She's not our baby Lisa who accepts you with arms wide open and smile on her face! She doesn't want milk at bedtime! Jennie change her Irene! And I think it's good! Why don't you ask Lisa if who she wants to go with? Do you think you're also horrible?!?"

Seulgi's words struck my heart, it's like I was awakened on a bad dream. I didn't think of what Lisa felt when I told Jennie to stay away from her. I'm not different from the version of Jennie whom I met from the start.

"Irene I think it's okay if Lisa grows too. If Jennie really took advantage of her, do you think she will plead for her to stay? Lisa may have a mental disability but she's on the right age to choose who she can be with"

Thinking of it, Seulgi have a point but I don't want Lisa to go. She's like my little sister, she's the first family I had. We are startled when we heard footsteps going down the stairs, Lisa is rushing through the front door. I grab her arm stopping her from opening it, she tried to push me away but I hug her.

"Lisa stop. You're hurting yourself!"

"U-Unnie I wanna go home to Jennie! I don't want here! Let me gooo!"

"No! You're not going anywhere Lisa specially to that Jennie!"

"No! I. Want. To. Go. Home!!!!"

Seulgi butt in "Lisa listen to us okay? Please sit. Let's talk"

"NO! you won't listen to me anyway!" she started crying again.

She wiggled on my hug trying to push me away.

"We will listen I promise" I beg.

Lisa calm down a bit so I guide her to the couch, she flop down and hug her knees.

I sit closer to her who can't stop from crying, I rub her back.

"Lisa...do you want to go to Jennie?"

She quickly sit up "Y-Yes u-unnie....p-please *hiccups let's go there...I m-miss *hiccups Nini.."

Her voice is now hoarse due to crying loudly a while ago, she also yelled at us unintentionally because of anger.

"Let me ask a question first. When Jennie and you had sex, did she force you to removed your clothes or did she try to hurt you?"

She shake her head "N-No u-unnie *sobs...she...s-she a-ask me p-politely...and then...t-then we do h-horsey horsey...*hiccups and I l-love it.."

I don't know if I should get mad by her story but I chuckled, she's not a baby anymore.

"U-Unnie....I w-want to go h-home..."

"To Jennie?"

She nod. I wipe her tears away as I sigh.

"Okay. We will bring you to Jennie"

This time I felt the warm hug she used to give to us everytime I bring her favorite food or buy her something she likes so much. I felt her love for me.

After all this time, I thought Lisa would consider me and Seulgi as her home but it turns out it would be someone else. Jennie is now her new home.

Seulgi sit on the other side "Lisa you did well. Don't give Jennie a hard time taking care of you. You promise to be a big girl right? You're a big girl now"

"R-Really unnie?"

"Yes Lisa. You're not our baby anymore. You're Jennie's baby" I said while my tears fall.

"Y-You're still my unnie! My best unnie!" she hug me tightly.

Seulgi nod at me telling me that it's the right choice, Lisa already adapt a new environment and liking.

"Ready? You must fix yourself because you look like a monkey" I laugh while wiping my tears away.

"Ahhhhh unnnieeee! You're like Jisoonnie! Hmmmmppp!"

I smiled when she was now on her usual self.

I pinch her cheek lightly "Be good. I'll gonna talk to Jennie about your relationship"

She hug me and Seulgi before we decided to leave the house, I will finally hand you over to someone who loves you the way I love you- which is Jennie.
