A/N I know we're all used to seeing Serkan being the cold one and it's a shock when Eda has taken on that persona - hang in there with me though!

Serkan arrived home emotionally and physically exhausted, Melo was sitting on the couch in the family room watching a movie, "Eniste? Why are you home? I talked to Fifi earlier and she said you were staying."

"Eda asked the nurse to have me to leave, I was making her uncomfortable and she wanted me gone. They wouldn't let me stay. I'll take care of Kiraz tonight and Myrna will be here tomorrow. Thank you so much for being here tonight."

Melo came and gave him a hug, "I'll help any way that I can you know that. If you need me to visit with Eda tomorrow I can. I'm sure Engin won't mind."

He gave a dry laugh, "Yeah, we have to go through this all over again but this time it's Eda turn and it's worse because she doesn't know anything. She doesn't know who she is or what she does. We're going to be crippled at work but I can't even think about that. I can't think period."

Serkan walked Melo to her car and waved her off. He walked back into the house that Eda had so carefully designed for them with Pyril, anne and Seyfi. It was their home, they had filled it with so much love and now he just was wandering around lost. Serkan took her ring out of his pocket and just stared at it. She had only taken it off a few times. Those times were his fault, he had broken her heart, this time she had broken his. Somehow he thought that this time might be worse because he knew that there was love between them before. Now he was the only one with the love.

He had researched her type of amnesia on the internet while he was sitting outside her room. It said that sometimes it lasted hours, well she had surpassed that. It could also last days or weeks, even months. He didn't have a clue what he was supposed to do.

He was staring absentmindedly at the bookcase when his eyes fell on an album. It was his first anniversary gift to Eda. She said it should be paper. He had gathered copies of photos and letters from her life beginning with her birth through school to when they met and then their relationship. Everyone helped with the project giving him special photos or notes that they kept it was a labor of love. He had included articles about Eda's successes in the field and Kiraz's ultrasound photo's, their wedding, everything that made them who they were. Serkan got the idea from the history that Eda had them put together when he had amnesia. This was Eda's history. How she became the amazing woman that she was today.

He pulled the book off of the shelf and put it on the counter. Serkan put her sketch pad and pencils on top of the album and added two books, their favorites. He then went upstairs to pack an overnight bag. Eda liked her own things around her, he would make sure she had them. Serkan had no idea of how long she would be there he only hoped that he would have some say in where she went after she was discharged. He placed the items in the car to bring to the hospital in the morning.

Serkan went upstairs to Kiraz's nursery to whisper his goodnights. He rested his hand on her back just to feel her breath. She was a beautiful little girl, such a spitfire, so like her anne. He only prayed that Eda would remember her soon. It hurt so much when Fifi told him that she didn't even want to see pictures of them as a family or look at pictures of Kiraz. His heart broke for Kiraz and he feared for their unborn child.

It was early when his phone rang, he had just stepped out of the shower, "Mr. Bolat? I won't be able to work today, I have the flu," said a very ill sounding Myrna. "I understand Myrna, feel better soon." There was nothing to be done but to take Kiraz with him this morning. Not ideal but he had no choice.

Kiraz woke early calling for her anne, she was cranky that baba was there but he told her that anne was sick and she had to make do with him. He fed her and got her ready for the day taking snacks and a sippy cup in the diaper bag. He wasn't sure how he was going to carry all of this but he would manage. Serkan got Kiraz in the car and headed for the hospital. He had three bags and a baby in tow when he made it to the nurses station.
