On Monday Eda and Serkan arrived at Dr. Sayir's office for her visit where they were going to do hypnosis for the first time. The doctor was surprised that the Bolat's had arrived together and were presenting a united front. They seemed comfortable with each other, relaxed even. She could only hope that today's visit would continue with this positive direction.

"Eda hanim, if you would sit here in front of me we can go ahead and get started. Serkan bey, if you would stay over behind Eda hanim for now that would be good."

Dr. Sayir walked Eda through a series of relaxation exercises, when she felt that Eda was sufficiently receptive she began the process. Serkan watched with interest, they had researched hypnosis but he still didn't really believe it. When the doctor felt that Eda was in the state that she wanted her in she began to ask her a series of questions.

"Can you tell me your name?" She responded, "Eda."

"Can you tell me your full name?" She responded with "Eda Yildiz Bolat."

"What is your birthday Eda?" Serkan wondered if she remembered from the album when she answered, "May 8th, 1996."

The doctor continued to walk her through basic questions that Eda should know the answers to. Many they had discussed over the past weeks but some they had not touched on. It would be interesting to see what her mind was holding back.

"Tell me Eda, where did you grow up?" Eda stared at the floor deep in thought, "Istanbul? No somewhere else but I've lived in Istanbul for a while with my hala."

"Do you know why you live with your aunt?" Eda nodded, "My parents are dead, they died a long time ago, a building collapse. I went to live with hala. Babanne tried to take me but hala hid us and changed our name. Babanne isn't a nice person."

Dr. Sayir raised her eyebrows and looked up at Serkan he shook his head and mouthed 'No'.

"Where does your grandmother live?" Eda wrinkled her nose in distaste, "She came to Istanbul but she lives in Mardin. Hala and I lived in Mardin but we ran away from there when babanne found us."

"Are you currently living with your aunt?" Eda shook her head, "No, I live with my husband and daughter in Istanbul."

Dr. Sayir got up and walked over to Serkan, "Is Eda hanim living with you and Kiraz now?"

Serkan nodded, "She called a couple of weeks ago and asked if she could live with us. She said she wasn't having any luck getting her memory back but then she really wasn't trying. Eda may have been less than honest in her visits with you. She asked if I would give her a chance to get to know me. She had already been spending time with Kiraz so she moved into the guest room across from Kiraz."

"I see, and is she still in that guest room?"

"No, she moved back into our room a week ago. Her choice not mine, there was no pressure from me."

"Can I assume that a physical relationship has resumed?"

"Yes, also initiated by Eda. Not out of guilt I don't believe."

"We shall see," Dr. Sayir said looking at him with a raised eyebrow and pinched lips.

"Eda when last we met you didn't want to be with your husband and child, what changed?"

Her eyes filled with tears, "I watched my baby play without me. I finally saw her playing with her babanne, I never saw Serkan, I think he stayed away because of me. I was hurting him and Kiraz and me. Aydan hanim wanted Serkan to move on if we couldn't be a family. I didn't want them to give up on me."
