guys, Imma be so honest, I don't exactly know what to write for the y/n and everyone stops being friends bs

so this chapter WILL be rushed on that part cuz like I genuinely don't know what to do 😭

i would think more abt it but I have exams coming up so I'm writing quickly before I disappear

anyway have fun reading i hope this chapter doesn't suck too much

"Xiaoooo!" You yelled with a whine, having been trying to catch his attention for the last 15 minutes.

"What?!" He barged into your room, stumbling slightly as he just got out of bed. It was obvious he could no longer ignore your yells.

You reached over to the bedside table and grabbed your keys to throw them at him. He was too tired to catch them but not too tired to dodge.

Before he could ask what the fuck was that for, you answered his thought question. "I'm not going today. I'm sick. Drive yourself."

That was a big fat lie.

You were not sick, you were just too scared to go today. 1st, because you'd be close to Cyno and Alhaitham would have to deal with the awkwardness between- literally- you too. 2nd, you were scared to see you friends.

Well, not friends anymore exactly.

You didn't know how to just suddenly be like "okay we're not friends bye!" because you knew they'd all think you were pulling a prank and it would hurt way too much to say you weren't.

If you message all of them saying you didn't wanna be friends anymkre, you'd need a reason why and someone (dottore) would end up crying and then come to you and cling to your legs.

Has happened before when you left for Liyue for 2 weeks and he clinged to your legs at the AIRPORT begging you not to go.

The only option was to ghost them, and none of them knew you were living here so they couldn't barge in and ask. However, you were scared Childe would try to barge into your old home given he has many times, or Pierro will be so worried that he'll tell Pantalone of your current position and that you've been living in the apartment.

It wasn't the best idea to ghost then- it was the worst, but you didn't have any choice.

You did think of telling Cyno and Scaramouche about everything since the both of them knew you were Silver Star, but Heizou still had access to the video. You were gonna tell Cyno but then remembered the whole accusation that happened just almost 24 hours ago.

If he was more awake, he'd realize you didn't even look or sound sick, but Xiao was too tired to dwell on those thoughts. He just nodded, leaning down to grab the car keys he couldn't catch when you threw them and left the room.

You sighed, getting comfortable in your bed. It's not like you'd miss something big, it was only Friday. It would probably just be Cyno and Alhaitham working on the assignment.

Of course though, the two did get worried when you never showed up, given your perfect attendance ever since high school.

Even Dainsleif was hella confused. He's seen your records, he knows you've hardly missed school unless for good reason.
