are you guys ready? this chapter is one of the biggest chapters ever. this is when the chaos ensues (no the chaos from before is NOTHING compared to the next few chapters)

we will be meeting the mystery person Pierro was messaging a while ago, but their identity won't be revealed for a few chapters

guys, I've written down everything I need to include for the next chapters in notes and summaries and there are only 9 chapters left... (maybe more if I accidentally forget something) but ONLY 9

ALSO HAHA I like to bring in my OC's from other fics so we'll be seeing a familiar person (for those who have read the scara x reader fic) soon !!!

these next few chapters go into us with our friend group more cuz I feel like it's lowk needed and it also goes into the current job we now have just a bit

ALSO, this is the most important part. Recently I've gotten some concerning comments on this fic and other fics and I'd like to remind you all that if you don't like something then don't read it and don't start getting mad over it. If I don't upload a chapter after the time span I usually post, then it's probably because I'm busy with a life.

Another thing, reference photos used are ONLY reference photos. I try not to use too many photos that are supposed to portray Y/N that includes a lot of skin reveal because obviously we all are people of different colour. there is one photo used this chapter that shows a lot so I do apologize for that but please remember they are only reference photos.

The last thing Alhaitham expected to see tonight was you dancing with another man, but life has its surprises, doesn't it?

The rest of the week had gone by in a flash, you working almost every single night at Diluc's new bar/restaurant.

You'd switch between positions for every few days, waitress or bartender, but you weren't complaining- it was good fucking money.

However, while working your mind could only go back to one thing; Alhaitham.

Now, it's Friday night, 15 minutes before Pierro's gala and your freaking out.

You and Alhaitham hardly talked after you kinda kissed him and you didn't know if he hated it or because you were both so sickly in love that you didn't know what to do next.

But that wasn't your biggest concern right now.

You were currently in Pantalone's room with Signora and Columbina while Signora looked at all the dresses she's designed.

Somehow, with everything happening, you forgot to get a dress for the gala along with a mask, and here you were, sitting on Pantalone's bed while he and Signora rushed to make you a dress with only 15 minutes to spare.

The party had started an hour ago actually and Pierro was getting a bit annoyed that you all weren't downstairs with the others currently.

He had actually come just 15 minutes ago, banging on the door and yelling "My arthritis is gonna catch up to me if you're all not downstairs in 30 minutes!"

That caused everyone to rush everything. Columbina was currently doing your hair, probably causing a shit ton of hear damage as she did whatever she could with curlers or straighteners.

With only four minutes to spare, Columbina slammed down the hair equipment while Pantalone and Signora yelled "DONE!"

You stood up with a sigh of relief, walking over to Signora and Pantalone who picked up the dress, holding it up for you.
