REUNION!!!

originally this was supposed to be the second last chapter but I decided I'd add one more chapter and then the last one

The room was silent, the only thing filling the large living room was the faces of the shocked hero's as they stared at you and Zhongli while Nahida stared at her brother and Ei to her son.

Staring Into the eyes of your father suddenly made a feeling of a whole weight drop on you.

You didn't even realize how much he's done for you; He gave up your life to protect you, to let you go on. You were just a bitchy kid who wished him death a day before his disappearance.

The thought of that made years start to stream down your cheeks and you couldn't help but start to sob. "I-I am so sorry! I've missed you so much and I was such a horrible daughter and I'm sorry for everything that hap-"

You were cut off when you felt arms wrap around you, and you didn't realize how much you've missed the warmth of your fathers hugs as you started to sob into his chest, immediately hugging him back.

"I missed you," He whispered into your hair, rubbing his hands through it while also petting it to soothe you. "So much sweetie. I wasn't the bestest father before, but I promise I'll be the one you needed. Don't apologize for a thing dear, you're the most perfect daughter any father could ask for and I regret ever saying what I said."

Those words made you sob more into his chest and his arms moved down to hug you tighter, and shocked faces turned into ones of smiles and lighthearted ones.

Alhaitham slowly walked to his sister, taking his focus off of you and your father as he kneeled in front of the little girl who had the largest smile he had ever seen as she tried to calm down her jumps of joy.

He smiled as he squinted his eyes. "You're not my sister!" His finger poked her in the side of her stomach and she giggled.

"I am! I just grew a bit!"

"You also aged." He whispered, making her giggle more. "You're 16 now!"

For the first time, he felt himself actually give a real smile. "I missed you so much." He said, now sentimental.

Her cheery smile calmed a bit as she jumped into her brothers arms and he stood up, holding her as she spun her around.

Scaramouche and Ei were completely different.

"You're still as short as the last I saw you." She spoke with a monotone voice, but there was a slight smile on her face.

Scaramouche just scoffed before he almost pinched 2 fingers together. "I grew just a bit."

"Eh..." She trailed off, making a "not really" face and the two of them could only laugh before they were hugging each other.

Once your crying had calmed down, Zhongli moved back a bit to cup your face and wipe your tears. "I'm here now."

You smiled and he couldn't help but smile too.

"So, what exactly do we do now?" Ei asked, sitting beside her son on the living room couch.

Everyone was joined on the couches, now talking about just what exactly was the next step.

"We get rid of Azar." The Tsaritsa answered.

You turned to look at her, confirming she was indeed the woman from the night of the gala from her voice and eyes.

She caught you looking and smirked. "Finally figure it out?"
