Chapter 5

"Boys(Girls) just wanna have fun."

"So we are all in agreement with all of the sports day stuff?" Fitz asked, linking up the papers in his hand. Marella, Jensi and his 2 other council members, Fernan and Maruca. All 4 nodded, Fitz smiled. "Okay, well then you are all now dismissed. Have a good day." Fitz said and they all stand in unison and each proceed to leave. First was Fernan, then Maruca and Jensi, who before leaving reminded Fitz about there team practice that Monday. That just left Marella and Fitz, who both usually cleaned everything up after a meeting.

Ding!

Fitz took his phone out and smiled which made Marella quirk an eyebrow up. "Did Sophie text you or something?" She asked, Fitz looked at her and shook his head. "Uhm, no, It was actually Dex. We're planning on hanging out today...Besides me and Sophie broke up yesterday." He said, like it didn't phase him. But Marella didn't by it, she gave him a sympathetic smile. "Oh. I'm sorry for asking Fitz," she said and he shrugged. "It's fine...It didn't bother me that much..."

Well, sorta. He did cry for a long time but if he was being honest with himself...Most of it was less about Sophie liking him and more of him feeling like failed to be a good boyfriend. But she didn't need to know that.

Marella didn't seem to by it, she snorts. "Whatever you says, cap. Anyways. See ya! Have fun with your little rendezvous with Dizznee!" Marella said, patting his back before walk out on him. Fitz blushes and wanted to tell back but he decided against it and just covered his heating face with his hands.

Damn it. What was wrong with? It shouldn't be this bad.

Ding!

Fitz stops covering his face and looks at his phone and sees a message.

Dad: Be home before 10pm.

Fitz: Okay.

Fitz turns his phone off, looks around the room to check if there is anything else needed to cleaned and then left, locking the door behind him. He turns to the empty hallway, feeling his heart lighten and he begins to walk. He was excited.

Really excited.

Fitz walks to the front of the school, then immediately spots Dex and the Song twins. Linh was wearing a white skirt and a light blue sweater,  she had her hair in a ponytail and was chatting with her brother who seemed to be engaged. She seemed nice, and she was pretty. Tam, the other twin was wearing complete black, baggy jeans and a black sweater. Then he noticed Dex and made a full stop.

He was wearing a black beanie, white shirt and denim jacket. He also wore black jeans and his blue backpack was slung on his shoulder. he was grinning ear to ear at them, and Fitz could see his dimples. And his eyes...It sparkles against the setting sun. Fitz could feel his heart race, his cheeks warm...He looked, breathtaking. Dex suddenly turned and they met eyes, Dex smiled wider and waved at him. "Fitz! Hi! You coming?!" He shouted, taking the twins eyes of each other and onto him. Fitz smiled and walked up to them, bowing his head slightly, "Hey Dex, Hello Tam, Linh." He said, holding his hand out to shake the twins hand.

Linh was quick to shake his hand and he could see her blushing at him whilst Tam looked at him, glaring at him. "Okay, okay. Now that wonder boy is here let's go!" Dex exclaimed, taking his warm hands into Fitz's cold ones and Fitz couldn't help but tense slightly. "Alright! Let's go!" Dex then dragged Fitz foreword and suddenly everyone was running down to a bus station, laughing and cursing at each other. Dex turns to Fitz who was laughing, cheeks flushed, "You excited, wonder boy?" He ask and Fitz nodded, slowing down as they approached the bus stop. "Yea, I've never been downtown so it'll be interesting." Fitz said, looking at the road trying to find the city bus. After a few minutes it pulled up and Fitz almost screams upon seeing a homeless dude on one of the seats.

He moves closer to Dex without noticing, who was snickering and petting his back. The group moved to the back and as it started to move they started their previous chatter.

"You okay? Fitz," Linh asked, leaning slightly closer to Fitz. "Uhm, sorta? First time on the city bus." He said, smiling politely. "Well, you'll be fine. You have resident child of downtown to protect you!" Exclaimed Dex, holing there intwined hands up in the air. Fitz's widen and blush crept on to his face, "Yea..."

Linh frowns at that and Tam snorts. As the sun goes deeper into the horizon, the bus stops at a particular restaurant. Fitz looks at it as they begin to file to get off, it looked like a normal ramen shop he'd fine if he went to Japan but more run down...Like he could get mugged in there if someone wanted. He looks anxiously at Dex, worry bubbling in chest.

But all he saw on the smaller man's face was a smile, a smile that could comfort him...He still didn't know why, he would never be sure. But the feeling felt nice. It warmed his chest...Kinda like...

He shook his head slightly, Nope, not today, to early to open the conversation about that. He thought. "Are you okay?" Fitz blinks and looks at Dex, who was frowning. Fitz smiled, "Ah, it's fine." He said smiling, "Let's go, im excited to try this place...Specially since I've tried authentic, wonder how this place will hold up." Dex's instantly widen. "How rich are you?! Do you go to Japan regularly?!" He asks and Fitz who was snickering, "Sorta? It's not really important." Dex slowly nods, "Okay Lovebirds, let's go." Tam whines.

Immediately upon hearing him say that, the two turn bright red and yank there hands away. "Y-yea..." they both muttered, joining the twins and they head in.

Fitz prays for this night to be good.

But boy, he was so so wrong.
