    click I sigh to myself after Nick hung up on me, I ponder to myself for a bit before heading back to where Matt's at, in all my years I've never see my brother put so much effort into a girl before,

I mean sure Tatia was a girl he loved but both my brothers loved her at once but once Nick found out bout her and Elijah he was heartbroken in a way but he stopped messing around with her even though he loved her,

he said he wanted a love to where the girl was only loving him in a romantic way not two or more guys, a love that he'll die for just to protect her, he'll provide every and anything she needs and all he wants in return is her heart to belong just to him and only him,

I wiped away a tear that begain falling on my face, I remember our fathers harsh words to Nick 'boy don't make me laugh no women in there right mind would pick to be with you! You are useless you would never be able to provide or protect her you could berly do those things for yourself,

that girl Tatia realized that and choose your brother Elijah because she knew you wouldn't be able to satisfy her' 'your wrong father I can..' 'you are no son of mine!! And you will never find love Niklaus you will forever be alone' our father was a very crule man towards Nick all because of our mothers affair my brother had to suffer for it,

after we changed Nick has kept his heart to himself never letting another girl in or even giving her a chance to win his heart,

my brother is broken, I don't think he'll ever find love, he needs to open his heart up even though it might get broken, I know my bother calls me a foolish girl for loving so easily but that's ok I know in my heart that after all this heart break I'll finally find my love and be happy,

I do hope my brother finds love he deserves happiness, I wipe away more tears, I'm so lost in thought that I didn't even hear Matt coming "hey are you ok?"

He says looking at me "yes, I'm just thinking about the past" I give him a small smile "look I know we just meet in all but if you ever need to talk to someone I'm here for you, I'll even listen to you complain about girl problems"

I started laughing at bit at what he said "no I'm serious, I've listened to Caroline before" he said laughing a bit to "really? You would listen to girls problems as well?" "Yes I'm here for you, when ever you need me and I'll help you how ever I can" he said with a smile and I can tell he truly means it by the look in his eyes

"thank you" "no problem, no let's get you back to the party to take your mind off of things for a bit" he smiles as he extends his hand to me and I take it happily

"lead the way Matt" he smiles and nods as we head back to the party, I envy Caroline for moment because she got to grow up with a guy like Matt, my brother has taken a liking to Caroline anybody with eyes could see that but I know my bother plays with girls, vampire sluts leave his room once he's done with them, but sadly

once a human go's into a room with him she never comes out a live majority of the time, he doesn't even give them his blood to heal or a chance at a vampire life, he drains them dry and that's the end of that,

Caroline is the first person to have spoke to me and defended me in this town and were not even family we were totally strangers, I won't let my brother hurt her Caroline is my friend I say smiling to myself

I actually have a girlfriend to do girls things with, 'family above all remember that Bekah' Nick said as he ripped the heart out of the boy I once loved at the time,

his words rang in my head, family or a friend, I'm going to make sure Caroline comes to no harm by Nick or gets in the crossfire with this whole doppelganger mess I won't lose my first friend,

even if it means standing up to Klaus and getting dagger again for another century I will keep Caroline safe.
