Understanding Silas

CAROLINE'S POV
We settled down in a motel once again, lucky Kat wasn't here at the moment, it was just me and Silas, He had her off on a mission with another witch to find something a few days ago

I left the room he assigned for me to get something to eat, I seen him on the couch watching TV and eating many different foods, it looked like a buffet in here

He looks up to see me in mid bite "mmm you guys have thee best food in this era I give you that" he told me with his mouth full of food "thanks I guess you didn't have cheeseburgers back then"

He smiled and laughed a bit then finished what was in his mouth before saying "care to join me?"

I shrugged my shoulder and made my way over there, I was pretty hungry even if it meant having to sit and eat with him

I helped my self to some dinner rolls, some pizza and strawberries, he really did have random food all around here "why did you get so much food for?" I asked him as I took a bite out of a strawberry

He looked away from the TV real quick to looking at me "I wasn't sure what you liked" luckily he turned around as soon as he finished his sentence cause then he would of seen the shock expression on my face, since when did he care what I liked or not?

SILAS'S POV
Amara, my poor sweet Amara was suffering in the after life without me as we speak, yet my mind was filled with the women next to me

She a means to a end but the time we spend together means something to me, from the moment in the diner I knew she was different

She smart, clever, sassy, brave, compassionate, loyal, blut with how she feels.. I smile at that thought, she's not afraid to tell someone to fuck off even if they could kill her

I lost my trail of thought when I hear her singing the song of the movie low, I turned to her "you have a beautiful voice" I whispered but she heard me "why did you stop?" "I didn't realize I was singing out loud" she said as a faint blush washed over her cheeks

The door opened up and Kat walked in with the witch and 3 of Klaus's hybrids "I'm gonna go wash the stench of mutt off me" Kat hissed at them as she shoved past them, she eyed me and Caroline but said nothing as she made her way to the restroom

Caroline stood up at the sight of them but turned back to look at me with hope written across her face

"Don't get your hopes up I compelled these one's to obey me" I say getting up and walking to the door to the witch "everything taken care of?" "Yes, they will do as you say and follow your order's" I nodded my head then added "who did you take these from?" as I pointed to the hybrids

"They were trying to protect the human boy" I heard Caroline's heart beat quickened "no" she whispered under her breath "did you harm him?" I say eyeing her, she shrugged her shoulders a bit before answering "he'll live, he's probably already being checked out of the hospital as we speak I guess"

Caroline gasped then spoke "what do you mean hospital?" The witch looked past me to her "don't worry I just roughed him up a bit, he's a stubborn one isn't he?" She said with a smile on her face

"You didn't have to hurt him! He's human what could he have done to you!?" Caroline walk up towards the witch, anger radiating off of her, I seen the hybrids twitch from the corner of my eyes but in that same second they were on the witch

I was about to attack them when I notice Caroline was on her knees with a slightly bleeding nose, I bent down to her level "are you alright?" She glared up at the witch "I'm fine" she gritted out with fire in her eyes

Strike one for the witch

I got up and went to the witch, one hybrid was choking her while the other two each held her down from both sides
