CAROLINE'S POV
The dismissal bell rings and I gather up my things and head towards the field, we don't have practice today but I wanna go over the routine with Rebekah as much as I can, she got most of it down during yesterday's lunch and at practice after school but still practice makes perfect, I see her already there and she's talking to Matt and Tyler, the boys are wearing there football gear since today is there practice day
"Hey" I say to them all as I reach them "Hello Caroline" Rebekah says with a sweet smile "Sup/Hey Care" Tyler and Matt say at the same time which makes us laugh "Care?" Rebekah ask "It's a nickname my friends call me" I say smiling "ya cause she cares so much" Tyler says while putting his hands over his heart which makes Matt laugh "hey" I say smacking Tyler on the arm "I'm just messing with you Care-bear" Tyler says throwing his arm over my shoulders
"We missed you two at lunch yesterday, you guys missed an interesting fight before lunch started" Tyler said laughing with his arm still on me, I kinda like it "What was so interesting?" I asked "I'm surprised you already haven't heard but you know that jerk Kent from history? He knocked himself out cold before the first punch was even thrown, his dumb self tripped over his own two feet face first onto the floor" Tyler said laughing still "It was pretty sad but mainly hilarious" Matt said shaking his head but laughing at the same time.
"Good Karma finally got him back from spreading those rumors about Erica, I wished I could of seen it" I say a lil bummed "It was over before it even started, any who how is Bekah doing with the routine? She ready to cheer for me?" Tyler said wiggling his eyebrows at Rebekah in a playful manner
"Ignore him Bekah" Matt says with an eye roll and then continues to says "Can we call you Bekah?" "Yes I suppose it be earlier then saying my full name all the time" she tells us with a small smile, then we heard a whistle go off signaling for Matt and Tyler to leave us "lates" Tyler said giving me a quick squeeze then finally removing his arm from me and running off "catch you later" Matt said and also took off running
"so you and the quarterback?" Bekah says in a playful tone, I look at her with a slight tint in my cheeks "Tyler's just a friend, he doesn't see me like that" I say "ya and people call me blonde" she says which makes me bust out laughing and saying "I know that feeling at times" she laughs along with me "same here" she says then we make our way to the locker room
REBEKAH'S POV
I wave goodbye to Caroline as shes driving off, she offered me a ride but Nik texted me that he was going to pick me up, Tuesday at school was a better day then Monday but today is so far the best day I had, Caroline and her close friends have been nothing but kind to me, I wonder if that will change once the doppelganger get back, shes probably gonna lose a few of her friends I think to myself sadly...
she'll lose both of her would be sisters cause something tells me the Bennett witch knows about her family's history and along with Stefan they won't let Elena go that easily I think with an eye roll, what makes the doppelgangers so lovable? The original one played both of her brothers and even the next one cause another problem between them I think while shaking my own head
I hear a car pulling up and I see its Nik, I head over to the car and open the door to get in "wheres Elijah?" I ask looking at him "he left for a few days to take care of some business" he says while his eyes scan the parking lot, I ask "looking for something?" knowing very well what that something was "no" then he begins to drive us home "whats the business he has to take care of?" "my werewolf gave my men the slip, so Elijah going to lend a hand" I found it odd hes not the one going to make sure things go smoothly "why wasn't it you?"
"ouch Bekah I'm hurt you want me gone already" he says as I roll my eyes "whatever just don't forget to get me on time tomorrow I don't have practice till Friday" "what happen no staying late with friends tomorrow?" he ask "no the guys have practice and Caroline is having a early dinner with her mom" I said
"hmm ok that means you and I can go look for the tomb then" he stated "Pass I remember when Kol pushed me in there and I was stuck in there for a week before any of you even noticed" I huffed out at him "now Bekah that was many centuries ago and besides it was your own fault for Killing Kol multiply times in a day" he said to me "He shouldn't have gotten on my nerves then" I hissed and Nik just shook his head
