It's a Start

ELIJAH'S POV
I'm watching the girls as they get more snacks, drinks and rearranging the seats to get more comfortable for the movies, as soon as Caroline excuse her self for a restroom break, I look to where Niklaus is settling down for the movie, "brother might I have a word?" He turns his head to look at me with a raised eyebrow "yes?" "Is Miss Forbes staying with us all weekend or is she going home tonight?" "She's staying here" he said while facing the screen once more

"oh so she had already asked her mother to stay?" I heard him groan nd put his head back on the couch "she's staying here because I said so Elijah" "isn't it her choice?" "Can it Elijah" "why are you two fighting now?" I turn to see Rebekah carrying a fresh batch of popcorn, then I looked back to a smiling Klaus

"ah dear sister our wise older brother thinks is best if we send Caroline home tonight, instead of letting her stay here for the whole weekend" "what no she's spending the night Elijah!" Sigh he always twist my words around "Rebekah I didn't say she couldn't stay and you know that Niklaus, I mearly said that did she get permission from her mother"

"permission for what?" We turn to see Caroline coming back in the room, Rebekah rolled her eyes then said "Elijah being an adult and wants to know if your mother is fine with you staying here" she shrugged her shoulders "I wouldn't know, I didn't ask her and I'm not going to" Niklaus had this proud smile on his face for her,

while Rebekah looked pleased that she's going to stay "unless you guys don't want me to stay here I'll go home, it's no problem" "no! Elijah is being a grumpy pants stay please we never did get our sleepover" "yes Caroline stay, you can just always ignore Elijah like I always do when he's bugging me" she laughed a bit "no I don't think I can be mean to him like that" he frowned at her which caused her to laugh more

"the reason I can't call and ask her is because I promised not to leave the house, with the incident with the joggers being..." she froze then added quietly "was that you guys?  The attack on the joggers?" Klaus nods his head at her "yes, you have nothing to fear, we don't have to kill to feed as you can see and it would be fine by me if you stay here until your mother came home" she glared at him then said "feeding off of people is wrong, I should know it hurts like hell and you feel helpless" she had a fire in her eyes that make my brothers face seem bothered

"Why can't you drink from blood bags?" She asked pointing to the TV "straight from the source is always better" he said with caution, which made her scoff "have you ever been drinken from?" I was shocked to see my brother get a lil nervous "no.. Drinking from another vampire is... A very intimate gesture" he said looking away from her,  she scrunched up her nose "you guys can drink from each other?" She Shook her head and waves her arms in a forget about it way

"Alright so, just don't drink from me or tell me your drinking from someone in this town, other then that thank you"

she comes to me first give me a hug, I'm shocked at first then then hug her back, I smile small when I hear a low growl coming from Niklaus, she then goes to Rebekah and hugs her the same them moves on to Klaus, I had to hold back a laugh because she just gave him a hand shake, he fixed a smile on his face and I couldn't help it I chuckled a lil,

he looked at me with...No it couldn't be..I believe it was jealousy "ok we got that out of the way now can we please finish watching them, I want to know who she picks" Rebekah makes her way towards the makeshift bed on the floor, it's nothing but blankets and a bunch of pillows they collect around the house and throw in a pile, I remember seeing Klaus smile to himself when he seen Caroline bring down one of his pillows for herself,

and now he's smiling again because she picked that pillow to lay with, this girl, correction this human girl has seems to have caught my brothers eye's in all our years together he has never shown this much interested in a girl let alone a human, I feel a smile coming on my face, maybe this is Niklaus chance at a happy ending
