"The Awakening" part 4

ELIJAH'S POV
    "Yes Klaus she's still asleep" I said while looking at her on the couch "call me as soon was she wakes up" "I know but you see here's the problem, I can't call you if you keep calling me every 5 mins Niklaus"

"Now's not the time to be a smart ass brother" Klaus hissed thru the phone then he continued "have you heard from Kol and Stefan yet?"

"Yes I just got off the phone with Kol he was still at the house, he said see us in a bit then hung up" "sounds like Kol, now call me when she wakes up"

"yes and I told you when you first called me..." I looked down at my watch real quick " over 30 mins ago that I would call you"

"I'm almost done, here I should be leaving here in about 5 mins tops" I was about to answer him back but then Caroline shot up and fell off the couch

It looked like she had trouble breathing "Caroline? Caroline are you alright? take deep breaths Caroline"

I grabbed her gently to help her "Elijah? what's going on? what's wrong with her? Dame it Elijah answer me!" I heard him on the phone but I was busy making sure she was alright

After she got her breathing under control she looked up at me "Elijah?" I smiled at her helping her stand

CAROLINE'S POV
   Ugh my head was hurting I sat up coughing it felt like I couldn't breath, I fell off of something and kept struggling to breath

"Caroline? Caroline are you alright? take deep breaths Caroline" I felt hands holding me up, I did what they asked and caught my breath I looked up to see a worried "Elijah?" He smiled at me helping my stand up

"you remember me?" Elijah asked "Ya why wouldn't I?" "Omg Caroline!"  Rebekah said screaming then flashing in front of me hugging me "your awake, she's awake"

"Can't breath..squeezing me" I said  "Oh sorry" she said letting me go quickly, "Caroline?" I looked up to see my mom coming from the stairs "mom" I said feeling tears form as we ran to each other, she hugged me

"My baby girl" she said crying, we stayed like that for a while, then I heard the door open "where is she?" I looked to see Klaus standing there he looked like he just ran a marathon

He made eye contact with me and I seen that he was relieved and worried, I now understand why Elijah asked if I remember him, they didn't know what happened to us down there, Klaus was probably thinking I forgot about us, but I also remembers when he comped me to forget everything, I stepped back from my mother and walked to him

He stepped forward "Caroline.." I know I caught him off guard when I shoved him back, confusion and hurt flashing across his face as he stumbled a step back "why did you compel me to forget everything? you had no right to drop that bomb on me then make me forget and give me fake memories!" realization crossed his face "Sweetheart I can.." "don't sweetheart me right now" he flashed his eyes up behind me and back down to me, I heard Bekah hum in a teasing manner "Can we talk about this later love..please" I jabbed a finger at his chest "you best believe we will be talking about it all Klaus" he let out a small chuckle while holding back a grin but the corner of his mouth gave him away 

then everything that happened on the island came back "What about Silas and I have to tell you something but you can't get mad" he gave me a small shy smile then pulled me into a hug while he kissed the top of my head, I welcomed his embrace but kept my hands on his chest

"Don't worry about Silas at the moment and if your referring to how your best friend shoved the cure down your throat the secret is out love" he tucked a curl behind my ear when I looked up at him "how did you.." "Bonnie filled us in, now how are you feeling sweetheart?" his eyes looking over me to check for anything
