Cheerleading Tryouts

REBEKAH'S POV
As I let this blonde drag me along with her to these tryouts I realize this is the Doppelganger best friend, the one sitting with her at lunch today. If I get close with her I won't have to snoop around to find dirt on the Tatia wanna be, the original one was much prettier in my opinion. I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear what she said to me. "I'm sorry" I say while she just smiles at me and says "I'm Caroline" as she opens the door into the girls locker room I then realize I don't have anything to tryout in I turn to face her and tell her "I don't have a change of clothes" then she turns around and tells me "don't worry about it, you look like my size I have extra tops and bottoms I can lend you" I smile at her for being so kind to me "thank you" she just smiles back at me and then goes in her locked box, or locker that's what the other person called it when they helped her open her own earlier. She then turns around and hands me a pink tank top and black shorts

"you can change over there and when your done just bring back your regular clothes and I'll put them in my locker" I take the clothes and head to where she pointed at when I turn the corner I find a handful of other girls changing. They all must be here to tryout as well I thought to myself, as soon as I started to change I over heard 2 of the girls talking about me "does the new girl really think she has a shot at the fill in spot" they laughed, then the other said "she came in with Caroline, maybe our captain thinks she's cheerleading material" "or she just wants a good laugh for tryouts, remember when she had Vicky tryout telling her it will be fun then" they laughed again "well Ya she pulled a bitch move on Caroline so who could blame her for doing that" "Ya your right, I wonder what the new girl did to make her wanna humiliate her"

"who cares she should just go back to where ever it is she came from" "a lil harsh don't you think Laura" "oh hush Erica we all know I'm getting that spot because my sister is co-captain" I was finish changing and heading back to Caroline, she was nice to me she wouldn't be trying to pull a bitch move on me. "Are u ready to hit the field" she asked after she takes me clothes and puts them in her locker "I'm sill not sure what I'm supposed to do" she places both hands on my shoulder and says "just do what I do and try your best and everything will be fine". As the rest of the girls came out Caroline has told us all to wait on the field for her, so we all headed out on to the field. I was in the front and behind me were the two from the changing room that was talking trash, then Caroline came out with other girls

"Ok were gonna break down a simple routine and then do it normal speed for practice then finally with music for the test and me and the team will talk it over and say who gets the spot, and if there happens to be two in favor then well have a individual dance move to see who's best". After the routine was shown to us it was time to do it at normal speed and I found myself keeping up with the other girls and I don't mean to brag but I was better then most of them here but all of a sudden I was pushed from the back and I lost my footing and fell forward on my hands and knees. "Omg are you ok" I looked up to see Caroline looking at me with worried eyes "yes I'm ok just a lil fall that's all" she looks behind me with angry eye's "she could of got seriously hurt" "I lost my footing and fell forward by accident"

I didn't need to turn around to know who the voice had belonged to but I still turned around to look at Laura wanting nothing more then to get up and sink my teeth into her neck and drink her dry but that would mean compling everybody here and that just seemed like work plus Nik is coming down and I wouldn't wanna get on his bad side again, so I just stood up and brush myself off. "ok, everybody spread out" Caroline says and looks at me one more time making sure I'm ok, I give her a nod and she takes her place back up in front. After the test was over we were waiting to see who would be selected, of course thanks to my vampire hearing I already know whats gonna happen and I am not happy with it.

Caroline comes back to stand in front of us "ok so we have two people in favor, one is Laura congrats" she says it with a fake smile which makes me smile "I knew it!" Laura gets up to stand next to Caroline, "the other one is Rebekah" she says with a sincere smile on her face, as I get up to stand next to her I hear Laura "your kidding right? She wasn't even that good during the tryouts!" she cried Caroline gave her a gleer "might I remind u that u fell during tryouts and yet here you are, besides the team favored her as well" Caroline then walks away to start the music then comes up to me "you know how to dance right?" I reply with a simple "yes"

"good just do ur best dance moves, and if u can do flips or cartwheels or even the slips feel free to but if you can't then don't try ok" she then walks off to the cheerleaders and tells Laura to go first. "With pleasure" she says then she process to dance and she's actually pretty good but I could do the same moves she can, then she finishes it off with a cartwheel that leads in the a single flip and everybody is clapping and cheering for her. "Ok that's good, now Rebekah" Caroline gives me the biggest smile and I feel a bit more confident now, I do the same things that Laura does but only better and I finish it off with a cartwheel as well but I do two flips then end it with a perfect split.

Now everyone is cheering for me and the other girls come up to me and tell me what an awesome job I did, then I heard Caroline "that was amazing!!! congratulations you got the spot." "really!?" I'm so excited that I hug her "wow you got a Strong grip" she says a lil bit out of breath I quickly release her "sorry I have older brothers" I got so caught up in the moment I almost forgot that I'm not human, I'll need to feed later on tonight. "I've been told older brothers make there lil sisters tougher, but anyway why don't you head back to the locker room and let me finish talking to the other co's then well head to the grill to celebrate my treat" she says with a genuine smile "ok I'll see you there" as I'm heading back to the locker room I run into Laura, her sister and the other girl Erica

"you know the only reason you got the spot was because Caroline is captain right" Laura was looking at me with such hate "excuse me? last time I checked it was a fair trial and I out did you in the end" I say with one of my brothers signature smirks "relax baby sister all fair that is fair now Rebekah is it Caroline wants me to give u a proper welcome to the cheer team so come along" so I follow her around the corner and I see a few of the squad members there, the rest of them are not there along with Caroline and the rest of the Co captains but before I can ask where is she or the rest of the team all the girls start to throw paint at me and when they finally stop Laura sisters says "You didn't actually think you got picked did you, no Caroline only picked you to pull a prank on you I mean come on she asked a new kid to join us"

all the other girls were laughing along with her, I wanted nothing more then to rip each and every last one of their heads off but that would be to many body's that mysteriously gone missing and once again I didn't wanna get on NIk's bad side so I just held m head up high and walked outside, I was gonna vampire speed my way home but I heard her speaking to me "omg what happened to you" I spun around and told her with such venom in my mouth "like you don't know! I trusted you and this is how you guys treat new student's here!"

I didn't wait for her to respond I took off as fast as a human was supposed to go and when I made it to the parking lot I check to see if the coast was clear then I ran all the way home as fast as I could. Once inside I let the tears fall, maybe my brother was right there is no trust beyond family and I should of just stayed by his side like I had for years, if I had only listen to him I wouldn't be feeling this humiliation right now oh god wait till Kol finds out what happened to me he'll never let me forget this in our lifetime, no use thinking bout it now I'm just gonna wash up and call it a day. Nik will be here any day now, that's what hes text said so ill wait for him to be here to see what the next step is, hopefully its avenging his little sisters pride.
