Josiah
I collapsed on the bed, exhausted from the day's events.
Saya had been able to bring all of the people that survived the Illinois bombing to the F.I. headquarters, and I spent most of the day organizing living situations. We had to set up some of the offices as sleeping places because there weren't enough rooms. Construction had started on a new hotel behind the current one. Maralynn was planning on expanding her fieldwork staff soon, so the new building was necessary.
And right after that was settled, Saya left again to find Ezra. He had looked exhausted, and we all refused his request to find him at first. Then, we felt a pang of intense discontent from Saya through the bond. It was the first time his emotions had been shared, and it was quite a shock.
He didn't seem to notice what happened, but we all took a moment to reconsider.
In the end, we let him go, and eventually, Levi had to leave with him to prove to Ez that we actually did have a way to rescue him.
There was half an hour of spiked anxiety amongst the five of us here until Levi sent a picture of Saya passed out on Dakota's old bed and Ezra wrapped around him.
I was overcome with joy when I saw they were unharmed, but that joy fell when Levi said Ezra wasn't coming back. He couldn't even risk keeping the phone with him lest the General's men find it.
The door opened and closed and I looked over to see Dakota entering the room with a stressed expression. He moseyed over to the bed and collapsed next to me. "Hey," he greeted.
I grunted in response, not wanting to say actual words. I watched his tense form carefully. My poor boyfriend had been subjected to handing out supplies right after getting back. For some annoying ass reason, Grade A had been deemed the managers of literally every other bombing survivor.
An idea popped into my mind as I continued to watch Dakota.
Oh, I am a genius.
"What are you a genius about?" Dakota asked.
I frowned. "Stop reading my mind, sparky."
"Well, you projected that thought." He argued back.
"Whatever," I sighed, pushing myself up. Then, I crawled over to straddle his hips.
"Uh, what are you doing?" he asked carefully.
"Relax," I simpered, a grin peaking its way onto my lips. "You look so tense~" I brought my hands to his shoulders and kneaded into the muscle. He melted under my hands, letting out an ungodly groan.
"Does that feel good?" I asked, already knowing full well it did. My hands continued their path down his spine, applying smooth pressure to either side of it.
"Uhuh..." he drooled, taking a deep breath.
Once I had made my way down his back, I grabbed the bottom of his shirt, pulling it up just a few inches. I situated myself to be able to kiss the exposed skin. When he shivered, I felt a heat brewing in both of us.
I moved my hands to massage his legs, starting on his thighs close to the knee. "How about this?"— I pressed down on a place I knew would be sore— "Does this feel good?"
He let out a high-pitched moan. "Yes, it feels so good- fuck~"
I massaged his legs higher and kissed his exposed hip. It was obvious we all needed a bit of release, and I was happy to take the first opportunity to get that.
My hand moved higher. It was just below his ass now, and when I needed into the area, he squeezed his legs together and let out a surprised sound.
"Oh, is this sensitive?" I pressed again. He grabbed the sheets in fistfuls, arching his back as far as he could. "Yes," he wavered.
