"Speaking" 'Thinking'

Izuku walked into the woods, spear in hand and on heavy alert. It'd been a few days since he'd discovered the small litter of bears that were practically dropped on his door step. At this point he's fairly sure that his cave is seen as an orphanage or something.

He's finally began completely keeping tabs on the days inside the forest. He's started to get pretty good at telling the time simply by tracking the sun too, though he's not entirely sure about the exact time, he's got a grasp on hours.

He hasn't talked much recently, maybe its because he doesn't really have the need to since he can communicate with the animals through gestures and simply whistling, but at times he finds himself unintentionally forgetting words. Whenever he tries to name something he's seen in the parks with his mother he ends up having trouble with the word.

It's only been a little more than a week, yet he's already having troubles, it's strange how something he could do effortlessly back in the city would now become so difficult at times. (He doesn't tend to need to remember this so his brain is replacing these memories with the new and more important ones.) His mind wasn't focused on that though, instead his eyes payed close attention to the land, footprints belonging to what he could only assume was a large deer. Small twigs on the ground were cracked and the leaves were a tad messy. Every so often he'd come across their feces as well.

He's lucky this time, it seemed to be a small pack of them traveling together. He got into the trees and started moving through the sky as not to disturb the ground and give them any idea that he's following them.

Before long he stopped dead in his tracks and hung off of a tree, his arm that held the spear came back and he threw it as hard as he could. The spear went flying out of view and a strange noise floated through the air. A smile fell on his face and he found his way towards it.

There before him and a couple monkeys he'd taken along with him, sat a large buck, the first one he'd caught at that. A toothy grin fell onto his face, his shark like teeth sending the animals holding onto him into a tangent.

He hopped down and looked around for any of the other deer that had run off. His eyes scanning miles around the vicinity, though the trees and other such plants made it more difficult. He looked down at the large buck, its antlers no doubt would become a source of pride as his first one hunted. Though he could also use it to make more knives, he's been thinking about how to make one recently and the antlers of a buck were quite honestly the only thing he could really think about. Most of the other animals' bones were too small. Though he's got the two from the boar tusks, these might help out as well.

He used his thread to wrap around the legs of the deer and dragged it back to his site. Him being short and all, made carrying animals a tad difficult. That's one of the only reasons he can't wait to grow up.

The deer was quite large, far bigger then he was. Walking around with something like this would be difficult if most animals didn't actively avoid him. His walk took quite some time, he'd gone by tree to get where he was, so no doubt he'd gone further then he'd thought.

The deer lost most of it's blood by the time he'd even returned to his settlement. It'd probably attract wolves, something he's not quite sure if he can handle. His neighbor mentioned that wolves tend to travel in packs, maybe they'd be like other animals and avoid him?

He heaved the deer onto the dismantling stump. Taking the boar tusk knife and running it along it's upper spine. He'd use the pelt as a blanket, he'd been meaning to make one since it'll no doubt end up getting cold some nights. His tail probably won't be able to keep them all warm if that's the case.

He heard the three bear cubs splashing around in the small river, the monkeys made similar whistling sounds that he'd always make to order them around. A smile once again fell onto his face as he began dismantling and preparing for their next meal.

He'd been saving some of the intestines of the animals he'd caught recently. Mostly the intestines, though he still had no wish to eat them, he figured he could use them for something else, they're quite durable if you use them properly.

Of course the rest of the organs or guts seemed to be enjoyed by the animals, he'd simply place those aside and hand them over to them since he doesn't use them anyway. The bones were all collected and used from time to time, making spears was something he enjoyed, though he's recently been thinking about ways to make them into arrows. He'd really like to try making a bow, especially since he can stay in the trees when using it.

The feathers on his ears suddenly began moving around, his ears listened closely and he could hear something strange, like a slithering almost. He looked around for a moment and then heard a scream. It was the scream from one of the monkeys. His eyes scanned the area, though he felt he should be frightened or scared, he felt calm, as if he was already used to this. (Fear gauge of a sea sponge - Similar but not quite similar. A sea sponge is incapable of feeling fear, rage, terror, sorrow, or happiness. Izuku only has the resistance of fear and terror from the sea sponge. Other feelings such as sorrow, happiness, and such are simply weakened. So when he in actuality he feels slightly sad he'd actually be feeling incredibly sad, so when he thought about his family if his feelings weren't weakened he'd probably would have had a panic attack or even a breakdown, but because of the effects of the sea sponge, he only slightly feels it. Also when he's only slightly sad, it's as though he feels nothing, everything is just normal.)

He let go of the deer and looked around, the sound of slithering grew near and he instinctively jumped into the trees. He looked down at the ground and found what had no doubt struck one of the monkeys. His eyes narrowed and he felt his claws sharpen. Running on instinct, he jumped at the thing and his claws immediately dove into the scale like flesh of the large snake blended into the ground incredibly, making it difficult for others to see it.

He looked around and noticed the small crowd of young monkeys. Each of them showing remorse in their own way. He walked over to the dead animal, the area it'd been bitten seemed to swell and blood seeped through the wound. He scowled at the sight of it. He felt remorse, sure he did, but for some reason it just wasn't as strong as he thought it should be. Could this also be a part of his quirk, he's not sure if he likes it.

His eyes glew and the body of the young monkey was encircled in a spherical shaped coffin. He pointed towards the circle then towards the fire, the animals seemed upset for a moment, he wasn't planning on eating one of their own. That should be one of their rules, they never eat their own.

He shook his head and pointed towards the ground, the monkeys as well as the fox that had just walked over looked at him skeptically. He sighed and looked around, he wanted to find a good place for his new found family to rest. It wasn't right that they were just simply placed into the ground.

He looked around for a moment, noticing not too far off a large clear patch, the grass was fairly tall so he'd have to do something about that. However he had a plan for it. For now, he'd send him off by fire, afterwards letting him rest in a shaded space.

The young monkey stuck by him for only a week or so, however they were all a part of his pack, no way he'd simply allow them to go without a proper burial.
