"Speaking" 'Thinking'

Izuku remained on the flat rock for quite some time, familiarizing himself with the area. His eyes scanned out as far as they could and took in everything. There weren't many animals within the area, only the little baby red fox, and the fish in the river of course. The fox remained looking at him, like it was both frightened and interested in him. He was a strange being, not like humans, completely different, can he even call himself a human anymore? Probably not, then what can he call himself, he's not human, but he's also not a single type of animal.

He thought about it for a while, it being quite the difficult topic for a four year old's brain. He scratched at his head, making sure that the sharp and slightly terrifying nails on each of his fingers don't cut him. He sighed and used his tail to help him up. Though it was large and looks incredibly heavy, it actually wasn't. In fact, it helps him stabilize more. Like he'd constantly fall over without it. (By the way, just another creepy fact about his tail, though its a monkey's tail, if he ever loses it, it'll grow back just like a lizards, and because he's not an actual lizard, he's not limited to a certain amount of times the tail can regrow. This doesn't only work for the tail, if he loses any limbs, aside from his head of course, they will grow back.)

He was starting to get hungry, but he wasn't sure what he could eat at this point, he was mostly made up of carnivorous animals, so maybe he'll be fine eating meat. Though again, there weren't many animals nearby and he wasn't planning on killing the baby fox that's taken an interest in him.

That only left him with the fish swimming soundlessly within the calmly flowing river. He looked down at it and inspected the fish, they weren't even scared of him, like he wasn't a threat to them. He poked a clawed finger into the water, the fish inspected his claw and one of the fish tried to eat it like it was a fishing hook or a simple worm. His claw extended and it stabbed into the fish, easily keeping the scaled creature in place.

He brought his hand out of the water and looked at the fish, his claw had gone through it. He looked over at the fox and it sniffed at him and the water. He threw the fish over to land and it landed right behind the red furred creature.

The fox jumped in fright and turned around hastily, noticing the flopping fish and eyed it for a moment. He pawed at it and finally sniffed the moving creature. The fox looked over towards him and then back at the fish. Ignoring the chances of danger and simply decided to eat it.

Izuku stood and looked in the water, thinking about food was smart and all, but what was he supposed to do about sleep. What if it rained at night and he ended up getting sick because he decided to stay here. That or the river could even come up while he was sleeping and drench him even further. He can still get sick can't he?

He decided that it was better to go find himself a place to sleep. A cave or even a hole in the ground, it didn't really matter what it was, just as long as it shielded him from the rain. He placed a foot in the water, noticing the fish all swim away as he did. His claws stuck into the rocky bottom and kept him steady, a certain claw heavily confusing him as he walked. Not only that, because his feet were webbed, he didn't seem to have too hard of a time on the slippy surface. The only thing now was that he could tell that he had an extra claw, it was on the back of his foot, almost like a bird's.

He ignored it and walked further towards land, the fox was too busy enjoying the little fish he'd been given to notice Izuku coming towards it. He knelt down right next to it, inspecting the little happy dance it was doing as it ate. For something so small this meal was probably a good gift. Just by the looks of it, the little fox was probably the runt of the litter, more than likely being left behind at some point to fend for itself. The fox finished eating the fish, glancing around before its body went still as it noticed him right next to it.

He gave it a small closed mouth smile and the creature seemed to inspect him further. Izuku stood fully and began to look around once more. His ears picking up on small branches and leaves making noise. Something was near, it wasn't too big, but it also wasn't all that small.

He glanced around, nothing really screamed a predictor was close by. His nose didn't really pick up on the scent either. Which means it probably wasn't anything too threatening. He looked around once more, his strong eyes looking almost as far as they could as he made his way further into the forest.

Trees made it a tad difficult to look too far, but they didn't hinder him too much. His tail swung around and felt the trees as he walked. The fox walked along side him, he wasn't quite sure what it had in mind. Maybe he just wanted a friend. Izuku didn't mind, he was also all alone at this point. Though he's not sure if he was abandoned or simply ended up out here.

The two looked around for a while, after some time he came across a waterfall, he had been following the river so he kind of expected it. A little pond sat under the waterfall, the calm river making more sense now as it came from the pond instead of a heavy flowing lake or maybe even the ocean.

He looked in the water, not really seeing anything, fish were one thing, but he wasn't interested in running into anything bigger. He looked around once more, noticing a slight dip in the water fall, his interest was peaked and he walked towards it. A little rocky path sat behind the waterfall. It seemed to be carved out by the water, which meant that it'd been here for quite some time.

He'd have a hard time getting to the opening if he didn't have his claws, which actually made it even more perfect. His tail sat above his head and blocked the falling water that went over him as he made his way behind it. The ledge was incredibly small, so he didn't feel like falling into the pond down below.

As he made his way into the small cave, he noticed another part of his strange abilities, it was definitely dark inside, but it wasn't all that difficult to see. Yet for some reason, even though he has all these abilities he can still see color perfectly fine, maybe even better then he did before.
