"Speaking" 'Thinking'
Izuku stood at the bottom of the stairs that led to the second pond. He looked on at all the animals that easily played around, some teaching others to do the same. He'd noticed that some of the animals seemed to hold a fondness towards others, they were old enough to start having children..., or at least he thinks they are. It was strange, where as he was still considered far too young to ever have children, the animals all around him were already considered mature.
He'd noticed some of them were already pregnant, it was strange to him. Four years ago these animals randomly appeared in front of him, he'd helped raise them and taught them different ways to survive and create. Now the one's that he's raised, were ready to raise children of their own... He shook his head at the thought. To be fair, mating season for the monkeys was still pretty far off, they even seemed a tad disappointed about it..., it was disturbing to say the least...
He shook his head, for today he was thinking about exploring again. The area was fairly well mapped out for him, he'd gone almost towards the exit of the forest, however never daring to step passed that line. If he's being honest with himself, at this point he's not even sure if he could ever get along with other humans again..., or if he even wanted to. He couldn't even speak their language, he knows that he could at one point, but now he can only remember certain symbols, that was mostly because of their shapes though...
He looked around, certain animals were sitting around and doing their own thing, however there were a group of wolves that sat at the border of their territory. He looked at them for a moment, noticing that they seemed hesitant. There were plenty of cubs with them as well, apparently wolves weren't like the other animals in his tribe, they didn't wait until even three years old..., the laws of nature were kind of strange to him, but he does remember that animals don't live as long as humans, or at least some of them don't. That makes him think of himself, he still doesn't know if he's a "human" anymore. After all he's made up of countless different animals, it'd be strange if that didn't effect him in some manner right? Does that mean that he also has a shortened lifespan, or is that something that wasn't effected by his quirk... He couldn't really know the answer to that question, not until he dies of course.
He walked over towards the wolf pack, the leader already having a name of his own, for some reason they'd stopped naming their young as well, if he's being honest he felt kind of bad about it. He's fairly sure that he and the others are the reason for that, the other animals were adamant that they didn't receive a name until they achieved something great or met their graves. Sometimes it made communicating a little difficult, but at the same time it didn't really seem to bother them.
He met with the wolf pack and inspected their worried faces, he looked around and noticed that there were crows surrounding the sky. He looked around for a moment, the others seemed on high alert as well, he must of missed something. He decided it'd be best to find his way into the trees, finding his way through the forest in the sky rather then on the ground where the issue no doubt occurred.
His movements were swift and fairly quiet, barely even making the leaves move as he swung from tree to tree. He sat above a tree right below where the crows encircled. One of them landed on his shoulder and tweeted away about something or another. He looked down and noticed something off.
A rodent?
That couldn't be it..., it seemed far bigger then what it was supposed to be...
It seemed injured, maybe it got caught by something and was running away. He peered down at it in interest. It wasn't every day that something new was discovered, he rather enjoyed the feeling it gave him. A form of excitement perhaps?
He crouched down on the tree branch and grabbed hold of a small whistle that sat around his neck. There were three of them, one a pan-flute, one for the crows, and finally, one for warning.
He grabbed hold of the one for the crows, taking a seat on the branch calmly as his tail wrapped around the tree making sure he didn't fall. He lightly swung his legs as he watched the creature, it seemed to think it was well hidden. In a way it was, however it was easily seen from above.
He thought about using the whistle for a moment, but a smile appeared on his face as he let the crow's whistle fall and lifted the pan flute from his neck and to his lips. He laid back against the trunk of the tree and sat comfortably, waiting awhile to mess around with the little rodent. At the moment, they wouldn't be able to understand each other, so the best way he could do anything for it was to gain it's attention through a less intimidating manner.
The little rodent seemed to calm down, the crows encircling it seemed to warden off any creature that had chased it. To be honest, the creature looked similar to one of their own, it was wearing clothes just like some of the monkeys did in their tribe. Though these one's looked neater and well made. He inspected the mouse calmly, thumbing at his little flute as he inspected it.
He looked around, several other larger male monkeys had followed after him and were inspecting the little rat as well. Izuku held a hand up to silence them as he watched over the mouse-like creature down below. It was strange, it resembled a mouse, but it had ears similar to the bear's he'd raised and there was something about it that reminded him of Inuit a bit.
He's never seen a creature like this either, but he's not quite sure if it's because of him or if it was just naturally born that way...
Some of the monkeys started talking to each other in their own language, Izuku hid in the trees so that the little rodent didn't notice him. It looked up in the trees and seemed frightened as multiple monkeys stared down at it. Izuku held a hand out to one of the closer monkeys and motioned for it to go down and talk to it and see what happened.
