"Speaking" 'Thinking'
The large rodent backed up quickly and hid itself as best it could as the little monkey he'd sent out climbed down the tree. In all honesty, the monkeys should be the scared ones, this rodent is probably bigger than most of them.
The monkey slowly approached alone. The rodent looked at it curiously as only one came down. Unfortunately Izuku couldn't understand the animal talk or he'd probably be eavesdropping right now. The monkey pointed up at them and Izuku hid in the trees a bit. Some of the monkeys started playing with their pan-flutes randomly. He looked on in confusion and slightly perked his head out a bit. Unfortunately the mouse seemed to notice the movement and stilled as it met his eagle like eyes.
Izuku tilted his head as he looked the large rodent-like creature over. It seemed to be injured. Izuku looked around for a moment and found the sap of a pine tree and placed it on a leaf. He quickly hopped down from the tree and landed directly in front of the rodent, completely dwarfing the oversized rat.
He knelt down and held out the little sap covered leaf to the monkey that can talk to him. Izuku sat on the ground and stared at the rodent as the monkey took the sap filled leaf. The mouse-like creature looked at him in confusion. He opened his mouth but closed it again for some reason. Izuku tilted his head as he looked at the leaf in worry.
"ありがとうございます..." The mouse spoke up. Izuku looked at him in confusion. (Thank You.)
He didn't realize animals could speak a human language, or at least a rat. He thought for a moment and his eyes widened. He grabbed hold of his crow whistle and blew into it. A small number of crows flew down and landed on and around him. He pointed at the rodent for them to translate for him.
The mouse-like creature stepped back in worry as the black birds swarmed him. Izuku blew into the whistle again and the birds stopped chattering. He looked towards the monkey and pointed at the mouse's wounds. The monkey nodded and started talking to him. The mouse-like creature didn't quite seem to understand the monkey though and it looked at him in confusion as well.
"日本語は話せないのですか?" The creature asked him. Izuku looked in confusion. He looked towards the birds for his words. One of the birds stepped up and squawked in his ear. (Can you not speak Japanese?)
"Japanese? He's an outsider?" Izuku questioned. He looked at the monkey and he simply shrugged. Izuku watched as the monkey sat down on the ground and acted like he wasn't even there. He sighed and looked towards the birds for help. Crows were good at memorizing certain human words, he hoped that a few of them could get his point across.
"アウトサイダーです!アウトサイダーです!" (Outsider! Outsider!) One of the black feathered birds chirped back. The rodent looked at them in confusion. He backed up a bit in worry. Izuku huffed and grabbed at his warning whistle, he just wanted the rest of the tribe to be aware that there could be outsiders in the area. He blew into the whistle and a loud pitched noise sounded through the air, afterwards multiple more sounded off, including the whistles of the monkeys that still sat up in the trees.
The rodent looked around in fear. The whistles continued and multiple footsteps from different areas could be heard. Growling came from behind them and Izuku stood tall. Izuku looked around in worry as he heard unfamiliar breathing. He slouched for a moment and prepared himself. The monkeys looked at his movements and readied themselves as well. The rodent looked concerned, but he didn't get the chance to worry as the monkey grabbed at his arm and ran for the trees. Izuku bared his shark-like teeth and lengthened his claws as he prepared himself.
Warning whistles resounded in the air continuously as stomping approached. Deer flew passed him in a hurry and he readied himself as a large form appeared through the trees. He wasn't quite sure what it was, but it looked incredibly strong, it had a baby following after it as well..., he felt bad since he'd no doubt have to kill the mother if it attacked, if it leaves him alone and just goes after the deer than he may be able to leave it be. Unfortunately the beast shared similar claws to him and slashed right at him. Izuku jumped to the side hurriedly and readied himself for impact.
He bared his teeth and his eyes slit as he looked the beast of a creature over. He'd never seen something like this in the forest, it makes him think that there are a lot more things here than he thought. Izuku's tail wrapped around a tree and helped him out of the way of another attack. The monkeys howled in the trees and continuously used their warning whistles.
A pack of footsteps could be heard and he growled lowly for them to stay away. This creature seemed to be even stronger than a bear, he wasn't interested in getting more of his people killed. It had strange patterns all over it's body and was the color of a flower.
He sniffed the air, it even shared a different scent from other animals. His tail puffed up and whipped around wildly as he readied himself for the next attack. The beast looked at him curiously, it's teeth were bared in a similar manner to his as well, however it's teeth were different, similar to Inuit's as well. (He's never seen a cat-like creature before so he finds things that resemble the wolves. He's currently fighting a tiger, now there are no wild tigers in Japan as of now, so these tigers would of had to of escaped from a zoo of some sort or could have been abandoned, the forest that he's in is home to many dangerous escapees like these tigers.)
The tiger growled lowly as it sized Izuku up. It lunged at him once more, but this time Izuku was ready and his claw's dug deep into it's back. In response the tiger ran around and thrashed at him every chance it could. As it ran around, it flung him into a tree to it's side. Izuku's back collided with the tree and he grunted loudly. The monkeys up in the trees started howling once more and more monkeys came their way.
There were monkeys holding bows and spears that they've created. Arrows were aimed at the beast's body, ready to attack at any time. But Izuku was adamant about defeating it on his own. He wanted to be the one to take out this beast.
The rodent that had been dragged up into a tree looked on in horror. The kids' spine should of been broken in half at the impact just now. He'd hit the tree so hard that it looked like it was ready to fall over.
Izuku stood in a fighting posture and readied himself to lunge at the beast once more. He'd go on offence instead of defense. There was no point in defending against a creature that would continue to attack no matter what. The baby that it'd brought along with it hid in a bush and seemed to be shaking in fear. He gritted his teeth and growled at the beast like he himself was an animal.
